They should make caster classes fun, that would be a good start.
Actually blood magic is a type of life magic in warcraft lore ironically only used by blood dks in game. The blood mages were more like destro locks burning souls (specifically demon souls) to enhance their fire spells.
I want oaf class.
Necromancer aka the class that people have been asking for since like forever like rn if you want to even get close to that necromancer play style you have to play an unholy DK
No more mail classes it should be a cloth class and whilst there at it give hunters and shamans leather no more classes need to be cursed with the horror known as mail transmogs
Agreed. I think giving demon hunters a third spec would come first before adding a new class
You know that the Death Knights and the demon hunters are or at least were hated by the alliance right? But you know what their accepted now because of new lore so why not do the same for necromancers plus in general we need a new caster monk, demon hunter and death knight are all melee classes and last I checked the only caster class that isn’t playable is necromancer and also don’t bother saying but DK’s already use undead stuff because there are already two classes in the game who have similar themes but are differentiated by there dps type with warlock and demon hunter for fel and paladin and priest for holy
Idk, I think the window for necromancer has passed us by.
How about an Artisan class that weaponizes the professions. Examples for specs being tinkers, apothecaries, and runemasters. Maybe could even combine professions to have tinkers use transmutation and such.
I don’t think that would go over well as it would be a completely new class most people want classes from the lore like wardens, necromancers and tinkers especially the last two
I would love to see Tinkers/Engineers, Bards, Necromancers, Gunslinger/Outlander, and Dusk Mage as New Classes.
I would rather enjoy having a reason to smash yrel with a sheild to the face.
Any class idea can be tied to lore.
Example:
Bards channel shadow magic through their instruments to bring constructs from their minds into reality like what N’zoth did but on a smaller scale.
Another take:
Bards infuse their instruments with Anima allowing them to inspire spirits of the dead to cross over from the shadowlands to aid them in battle.
Boom bard/necromancer and it doesn’t break faction lore. Any class can be introduced into lore. They don’t need to restrict new content to WC3.
Obviously but that’s not what I’m saying what I mean is when most people say they want a new class usually it’s in reference to a class in Warcraft 3 or something usually necromancer and tinker now what I meant was that I’d imagine that those people would probably get pretty annoyed if blizzard ignored these popular requests and just made something completely new that no one was really asking for
It’s blueface baby! Love your music.
big sigh how about they end this game, close the servers, sack everyone and start something worthwhile instead.
Just because people ask for it doesn’t mean they should get it. Ian has even said thet they are looking to add new things to the game rather than trying to represent old lore in new content updates.
Bard or tinker, both could be ranged, both are super unique, both are wanted by the community, both could be mail wearers (a mail wearer is pretty much guaranteed to be the next class considering there is only 2 in the game right now).
Ya gotta think of the other mail classes. Necromancer just doesn’t fit into the hunter and shaman’s buddy club. Tinker or Bard (I’d prefer Bard) fits in much better.
Dancer, tinker, bard, or necromancer are all solid ideas for a new class.
I’d really like some kind of cloth tank though.
A Dino mage who throws dinosaurs at people and can roar a lot
