I’m just happy they finally are giving us an updated one.
I encourage Blizzard to continue this line. Update all the druid forms to be both unique per race (where they’re not yet) and full 4k models in the current standard. (Some of the older bear and cat forms need touch ups as well.)
(Also really happy with the Incubus so far. Top marks Blizzard.)
I like the model but I’m gonna be big sad if they remove the old pixel-box cheetah. It’s the one I’ve always used.
I’m personally open to options . . . I just want a feral version of this because I wanna tame it . . . A smilodon cheetah, who’d of thought! Heh!
I imagine it will be. We have tameable versions of most of the forms, save for the artifact forms.

I hope so, though recent history has shown they won’t do it for every new / revamped creature model . . . poor warp stalker . . .
I think they need to go back and make changes to every cat model in the game that has that 3 polygon face thing going on.

Wow cool, I liked, new stuff for the druids as always has on the paths, but how about the other classes? Shaman, for example, still has the 16bits wolf skin.
I don’t mind it as a artists prospective ,but the nose really should be shorter , longer legs and the tail . it’s a little off. Yeah the old one looks better.
It’s got a number of the identifying marks/features you find on cheetahs, such as the lines from the eyes down the side of the muzzle, the spots, the white tip of the tail with black rings, etc…
I think those who have said it’s an Azeroth cheetah have the best reasoning for why the head looks off, and the mane along the spine.

Hate to break it to all you white knighters, but the cheetah form: just a copy/paste of the cat mount in the store. Complete garbage that dr00ds can’t get more meaningful forms than a copy/paste from a mount. Hopefully they let us keep the old form.

Cause seems to be a unique look to me… They’ve always used the same skellies in the past… Don’t see why they’d make a new one when they already have it.

Look at the colors, ears, details on the body. Its all the same.
If you can’t see it, then that’s on you.
