So what is the Zandalari recruitment scenario? What does “Let us make it OFFICIAL. The Zandalari will stand alongside the Horde… as equals” mean to you?
? 5 Zandalari = Entirety of the Zandalari. Sorry, I’ll take the Zandalari Recruitment Scenario over assumptions.
the game isn’t exactly made to scale, for example compare the battle for lordaeron cgi cinematic to the actual scenario, there is dramatically less soldiers. the game can’t exactly handle huge armies
No. You guys have literally been ignoring me. Your counterargument to the Zandalari joining the Horde in 8.1.5 is five trolls wearing Horde tabards. Then you say Sylvanas had control of the fleet in 8.1. She didn’t. Want evidence? Here:

The Zandalari, since they are equals, are not controlled by the Horde. They offered their ships to Sylvanas, she did not demand them.
the evidence is in the game itself, it usually doesn’t do more than 20-30 mobs in a given area, take the battle for lordaeron for example, the cgi depicts the alliance of having this huge army with thousands of soldiers, but in the actual scenario the alliance army is much much smaller with like 30 guys maybe less.
Yeah, but until I see a cinematic showing an entire army of Zandalari, then I’m not convinced. Not to mention you couldn’t see a single Zandalari ship in Anglewharf.
dont need to, because if there is generally 20-30 mobs in a given area and 5 of those are zandalari as you claim than that means roughly 16-25 percent of the invading forces in that given area are from the zandalari empire. which is not really that small in the grand scope of things.
Still an assumption and no concrete evidence. The fact of the matter is that regardless of the size, it was not officially spearheaded by Talanji nor Rastakhan. Only in 8.1.5 did the Zandalari ally with the Horde. Sylvanas’ quote saying that they’ve secured the fleet doesn’t mean they own it nor does it mean the Zandalari have joined. Take a look at my image I linked earlier. It proves it. Sylvanas has zero control of the Zandalari and never has.
Back to the original argument though, Ion himself has gone ahead and confirmed that the Battle for Dazar’alor was part of the Night Elves’ revenge against the Horde. The other part was the Battle for Darkshore and the Night Warrior questline.
Now, I get it. You don’t like that the cinematic has focused on at least a single Horde character every time. The reality is that this isn’t meant just for one faction, it’s meant for both. Thrall is the character who we’ve known has always brought the Alliance and Horde together. His return is just a good sign for both factions.
if you aren’t conviced yet, do the tiragarde incursion, you can see zandalari ballistas and then attacking boralus with a dino.
that happens before the raid.
also, the horde stolen a powerful artifact from kultiras and hide it in rasthakan vault, how is that not putting a target above his head?
cool? and? allies usually dont have control of each other’s military, and that is exactly what the zandalari were to the horde even back in 8.1. they were allies when they invaded anglepoint together.
if you want evidence just divide 5 (the number of zandalari you claim is there) by 20-30 and you get roughly 16.7% and 25% and bam there is your evidence. math ftw
Again, the Zandalari hadn’t officially allied yet. A couple Zandalari attacking Tiragarde Sound doesn’t justify the sacking of their entire city.
So just because he locked an artifact in his vault justifies the sacking of his city?
No they weren’t. How many times do I have to repeat this? The Zandalari only allied after the Alliance had sacked their city and killed their king. If those Zandalari were wearing Horde tabards, that means a few did in fact ally on their own accord. If they were a part of the real Zandalari Empire, they would’ve been wearing Zandalari regalia.
What holds more value:
A couple trolls in Tiragarde, or the official pact created after Rastakhan’s death?
it kinda does, because that is the zandalari military taking military action against the kingdom of kul’tiras. they are aiding the horde in invading kul’tiras
a powerful artifact stolen from the kingdom of kul’tiras.
you can repeat as many times as you want until your face turns blue, but it won’t change facts, and fact is the zandalari empire aided the horde in invading kul’tiras, and as such they shouldn’t have been surprised when the alliance came knocking on their front door.
Yeah, they could simply steal it back. Oh wait, they did. That could’ve been it.
Yeah I’m done. We’re both too thickheaded and this isn’t going to go anywhere, like most Forum arguments. Also, I feel bad how I’ve derailed this thread… so I’m out.
