Hell, I wouldn’t have sided with Sylvanas in the quests, but just out of stubborness and to not swallow this garbage that blizz is offering us I sided with the Banshee Queen.

I will forever champion the idea that meaningless choice to try and make someone feel better is worse then no choice.
This is true not only as a personal view, but also as a narrative standpoint.
When you give options that won’t affect the outcome, it’s not an option at all. It only creates false expectations and frustration. If they are going to make only ONE outcome for this, then don’t give players a choice. Make it mandatory to side with sadfang, help Baine giving Derek back to Jaina and then genuinely rescue Baine.

Yeah I do as well, and the best you get is “Don’t worry I have a plan.” And then when she’s about to do her big whatever Saurfang throws his axe into her back and snarks at her with “Honor means nothing to a corpse.”
BUt yeah, either commit to making the choices mean something, or don’t have them. Make a narrative that isnt awful and doesn’t cause a divide in the first place.

Edit: Dude, Sylvanas is one of my favorite characters, I like her SO MUCH. Pains me a lot to see what is happening and the path that they put her in. Just like garrosh its another amazing character going to waste due to rule of cool, bad writing and general incompetence.
And that’s going to be even worse because they’re going to prove that they could do something amazing for Sylvy and Nathanos…but it’s not until they are dying that they do anything that isn’t zug town.

Everyone whining about Saurfang and Thrall being in a cinematic and not Sylvanas or another Horde character.
Meanwhile the Alliance is still sitting here waiting for a single damn cinematic while the Horde are about to get their 2nd high res one in a single expansion.
