Golden? Getting horde lore wrong?
Personally I think it was a bit of a mistake to remove the belves’ edge, I’m sure the contrast of the pretty appearance with that edge was what attracted a number of players initially.
Maybe. We’ll see if it’s ever brought back into the game itself. Or if they’ll just consider this is canon and not really address it in game. It confused people anyway why the stones were there, and only some Belves fed off of them still.
No, I remember the starting cinematic for Burning Crusade, she pulls mana from the manawyrm she’s playing with. Belves as a race never ate fel, those who did turned red and green and grew horns.
Actually they were addicted to the fel.
No player blood elf was ever addicted to fel.
They did not consume it.
They did not use it beyond power for their buildings.
They were affected by fel radiating from those power sources and all it did was cause their eyes to glow green.
The Belf in the cinematic did and players did suck mana, but Belves themselves did suck fel at first, then they retconned it. That was the reason for the green eyes, then it changed to we just got it passively from the fel stones in the city that were used to power it. You can still see some Belves feeding off fel in the city because it’s never been updated to go with the changed lore.
And some of them stabbed out their eyes! Those were the ones trying not to be full demons though.
Necro thread nothing to see here.
