90% of the new ascendance model, terrific. No notes. But the head? What is going on? Doc brown looking @$$, dollar store bwonsamdi looking @$$, discount skull rider looking @$$ is goofy. Unsettling in a bad way. It looks out of place in a wow setting because it is so silly. A burning skull could be dope, but this is not it. I think I see the vision, and I think the vision is cool, but please, please, cook some more.

Best part of the announcement was the minor detail at the very bottom where they stated we are getting adjustments as well, maybe a new glyph? Barbershop options?

The entire thing just looks undead, it thematically has literally NOTHING to do with shamans whatsoever. They should have just made it so you levitate and are surrounded by elemental energies or something.
One of blizz’s biggest misses ever probably.

While it’s not really what I was hoping for, it’s fine. It’s actually a pretty cool model in its own right, it just seems to have the same lore implications as the previous version and doesn’t hit the cool factor as hard as Dathea’s form. Either way I’m not bent out of shape about it.
I will say though that I was really hoping they’d say they were opening shaman to all races. I’m still over here pining for stormwind human model shaman.

I don’t hate the new models but I mean could they at least have let us Dranei players keep our goat legs when transformed for at least a bit more immersion?
These new models are some chucky looking clowns. I’d rather keep the old model.
