That we are getting DEMON STABLES IN SHADOWLANDS LIKE WE SUGGESTED IN THE COMPILATION THREAD'S FUN SECTION
Although I’m excited for Torghast… I can’t really be bothered to be excited for class changes that only affect the tower. I’m not trying to be negative, but I wanna be awesome outside the tower as well. Not just inside /sad face
Now that I’ve processed it a little, I also don’t know what’s exciting about casting spells at the cost of half our health lol
If the screenshot and the way the slots are labeled is anything to go by, and assuming this isn’t a bug, they’re might be doing the “demonic slot roles” idea, ie certain families of demons can replace your imp etc
difference from Hunter pets where they can pick any 5 of any type of pet, we are forced to pick one of each type of pet
Oh nice, okay. So would they each have their own unique abilities you think? I never messed with hunters and their pets so I don’t know how similar they are or aren’t.
So say (I don’t really know my demon families so for give me) Felguard and Fel Lord are in the same family, and I am able to “tame” a dread lord… would he in theory be stronger, maybe have different abilities from the Felguard or play differently?
I get you’re not a dev and this is all speculation. I’m just asking what you think it would be. Like although I think cosmetics are cool, I would kinda hope for it to be a little more than just a skin. Like I would love for there to be an actual benefit to using a pit lord over the Felguard, or a shivara over the succubus, etc m.
Not anymore! Nowadays all pet abilities are the same within each allocated famiy, e.g. all snakey things are Cunning and all have the same ability, regardless of what kind of snake (cobra, mana wyrm, etc)
Nah Hunter pets all do the same damage within a given family. Doesn’t matter if it’s a random wolf or the wolf from Hall of Valor dungeon (Fenris), same damage.
Sure thing. I guess more reasonably, if we were to be able to talent into those demons. So like, make GoSup similar to what it was in legion but with more than just the two demons. So we could choose between a Doomguard, Dread Lord, Pit Lord etc.
I also feel that as demo locks, our demons should have a bit of edge over the other specs as well. Again, via talents or whatever. I just don’t want talents tied to 1 specific demon anymore. That’s not to say demon specific talents are bad, I think they would be great so long as they apply to our entire kit.
I agree Demo should have the most powerful demons, maybe like a pit Lord. But overall locks should have WAYY better demons than a f-ing imp and felhunter. Demo already summons hundreds of those.
What about the eredar hoes, we recruited them in legion. I need them
Just saw the screen shot, very excited, let’s pray more info comes out soon.
Torghast notes are nice but realistically all classes are meant to be op in their, I’m hoping more changes come for Warlocks in general but so far I’m a little more excited.
Yeah I really don’t care about Torghast. Ok its a nice a instanced tower were practically everything is broken and once you start actually doing mythics/raids/world/PvP nothing of it applies.
Granted that pet vault screenshot seems cool. But I rather see the actual updates to the spec and if that pet change will apply to outside of torghast. Which is basically a beefed up island expeditions.
It is worrying to me though all this torghast abilities updates/how it functions but nothing as of yet of the covenant/soulbinds/tiers of soulbinds system, the rest of the things that affect the entire game/gameplay through diff settings ie. mythics/raids/PvP/world.
Kinda seems like torghast should of been the last thing they focused on. Since you can basically throw anything in there to make it fun.
Where’s the actual things that affects how we interact with the entire game?
And in the last interview it didn’t even seemed like most of the other systems are even close to being in place. Don’t we have like barely 6 months left.
Those few months can sneak in pretty damn fast. But when are they actually going to test THE systems that affect everything else.
Covenants/soulbinds/the tiers if soulbinds/ from what I hear there’s an additional thing to soulbinds. That’s alot of things that need to be tested in raids/dungeons for each spec.
Guess I just gotta stay hopeful with their time managing.
Yeah I’m also frustrated with the fact it appears as if they’re justifying the lack of foundational design with both borrowed power and “but it’ll be fine in torghast”.
I admit we are all speculating as to their intent but without explicit communication we have no other choice other than speculate intent and provide feedback on the basis of that speculation.
