To unlock Kul Tirans, one must have completed the Siege of Boralus. You can complete it, even as a Mythic, like I did, in which I received credit, for completing the quest. After I turned in the quest, I received A Nation United, needed to unlock Kul Tirans. Also, oneself MUST complete BOTH War Campaigns; Patch 8.0.0 and 8.1.0, which in turn will give you the achievement Tides of Vengeance. Another thing you must do, to unlock Kul Tirans, is to complete ALL of the Kul Tiran storylines; Stormsong Valley, Drustvar, and Tiragarde Sound. This will give you the Loremaster of Kul Tiras achievement.

You know i was excited at blizzcon 2017. I was excited at BFA release. I was excited at 8.1 release. I was excited when I saw them in the launcher.
I get the feeling I’m going to be disappointed on Tuesday because blizzard has made a habit of dangling something I want in front of me and then not giving it me. Hey look at that! My excitement died in the duration it took me to type this.
To be completely honest, I’m beyond frustrated with this right now. This expansion has been nothing but disappointment. And, the only thing that can make me forget about it is being used to make me hate it more.
The Azerite system literally took everything bad about legendaries and artifacts in Legion and made it worse. Warfronts were advertised as a primary feature and ended up being boring cathcup content. Island expeditions ended up being boring and I don’t think I’ve even done one in 3 months. And, the most hyped feature in the entire expansion, the one saving grace, is being delayed INDEFINITELY for no acceptable reason whatsoever.

Did you know? Blizzard actually celebrated my 27th Birthday, which was on January 31, 2018! That was the SAME day that Blizzard made BfA available for prepurchase! On another note, Blizz put me into the very first Beta invite wave, on the day Alpha ended! And since Patch 8.1.5 hit PTR, I’ve been playing that on the side of Retail. Not going to spoil the details!

I agree 1000%. Why on Gods green Azeroth would the fashion dept change this AR heritage armor? 5x isn’t enough 
The longer trench coat, slightly brighter national colors and anchor on back was the real reason I even wanted to roll a fracking human!!! Please the powers that be change it back or give us options to choose! Maybe I should hunt down my own set? Suggestions anyone?

I very much want to play a Zandalari. It was actually one of the primary reasons I bought the expansion. (I was not going to be able to play as much as I had previously and was considering taking this expansion off). How disappointing that they were not available at launch. And further disappointing that it’s gone this long and they still aren’t available. I feel like this was a bit of a bait and switch. Kind of a slimy tactic that I wouldn’t have expected Blizzard to resort to.

I’ve wanted Zandalari since MoP. Got all excited to play one when they were announced as a possibility. Just about lost it when I saw the official announcement. It’s been like a year since then.

So still kinda confused. I understand the Alliance side will need Proudmoore exalted but the other achievements…do they carry over from the Horde side since they’re account wide?
Like how the Alliance (nor other alts) had to do the requirements for WQs since Vixie did them all. Is that how it’s going to work for my Kul Tiran unlock too?

Good thing I like playing drood…she’s my highest char on Allie side. Yay, something Else to do as if I need more things. =)
This time gating and grind to unlock KT and Zandalari is gonna make me cancel my sub for good.
And if I have the urge to play WoW, I’ll just go on elysium JUST so you don’t get my sub again… all of this has been straight up BS.
How come blizzard can release a new class and race at the start of mop and everyone can happily play from the time they download the game, yet they turn this into a horror show?
You know what works… stop screwing with the system and it’s player base!

It started when they were able to get away with time gating raids in WoD. I thought it was stupid how you only got to do a wing of Highmaul and had to wait for the other wing to get released when in Wrath you got a raid, you played through it.
Just drip feeding content.

If only that was true. ICC was timegated and locked by wings that came out weeks apart. These days it is only LFR that is like that, and it was mainly due to “top end raiders” felt “forced” to run LFR at the start of a tier to get some loots, such as tier sets.

Arthas was the main antagonist so why would you fight him on release? Him being the final raid for the content was obvious before Wrath came out. So that arguement doesnt work.
Draenai and Blood Elf as well as Paladin and Shaman were, to my knowledge, available when Burning Crusade was released. Death knights were available from day ONE of Wrath. Are you saying since they were merely features they shouldnt have been available on release? Gated was your preference for that? That was the precedence set and not just for those 2 expansions but for pandas, monks, DH etc. Blizzard can do what it wants. But Blizzard set the standard for class and race availability with any new expansion. They obviously decided they didn’t like this delivery method hence allied races. Blizzard to my knowledge hasnt bothered ackowleding player frustrations with this either. Again their choice but everything has consequences that may or may not be favorable.
To say they changed perspective and prefer this is one thing…to use the example you have is another and it does not work from the perspective that everyone else is seeing the race availablity issue from.
That also said I dont mind a sensible wait either but i have in 2 months lvled like 5 or 6 toons to cap and am getting burned out. The only reason a druid isnt one of those is because I want a Kul Tiran for the cat forms. Not a boomkin fan so I dont care what that looks like.
At this point Im maybe 50%sure I have the will to lvl a druid in addition to a paladin still.

He might not but in reading up on him he was one of these players back in vanilla
