New Affix: Incorporeal – While in combat, incorporeal beings appear and attempt to destabilize players with spells that reduce their damage and healing done. Incorporeal beings are susceptible to all forms of crowd control.

Hope you don’t need to save your CC for any specific mobs cuz you need to have it ready for this guy!

New Affix: Afflicted – While in combat, Afflicted Souls appear that seek the aid of players. Afflicted Souls spawn with poison, curse, and disease afflictions. Removing any of these afflictions or restoring the spirit to full health causes it to despawn. Fail to remove their afflictions in time will inflict players with a negative status effect.

Never dispell debuffs incase the bad mob spawns!

New Affix: Entangling – While in combat, entangling vines snare players.

Heard you hated dodging aoe, well now you cant dodge it

i just see many people swap to Druid because the cc, curse dispell and remove “entangling” when shapeshift forms

I already hate druids, so knowing that they’ll currently be the meta for the affix’s actually makes me madder

It had better make like targetable roots around you to kill to release. Otherwise so many keys will be ruined from aoe damage that you run out of normally.

Well, this was unexpected. In a really bad way. Cant wait for a key to die because entangling stopped the group from doing a critical mechanic or the healer had to let a player die because they had to use their dispel cd to get rid of afflicted instead.

Sometimes its like they dont even play their own game.

This is all I can think about too. Given how terribly Thundering lined up with anything at all, I have no faith that the timing on entangling will be any better.

Like seriously, everything being a 1 shot isn’t fun

I primarily tank so the 1 shots don’t bother me cuz tank, but the few times I’ve dps “mid” level keys and just die because my left toe grazed against the pixel of a swirly just to take 120% of my HP as damage

Df was okay I guess but my account runs out on the 31st and this gives me no reason to come back. Getting ridof volcanic of all things and then adding some affixes that seem terrible is not the way. Also no more buff affixes really is terrible.

I’ll need to see more of entangling but on paper it sounds awful. Like the mobs in Azure vault that root everyone and MUST be interrupted or the group can get annihilated. I’m imagining that but you can’t interrupt it…

Is it magic? Priests will just be mandatory for every group? I’ll wait to learn more but I’m very concerned about that one.

Also removing volcanic? Of course remove one of the less annoying affixes.

Warrior literally doesn’t have any baseline CC. So glad I have to sacrifice survivability or damage for a stupid affix. Why won’t they just remove affixes…
