P.S. Addr is good. Attaining 2.3k RIO score on a disc priest , possibly the most difficult class to heal mythic+ on outside of resto shaman, is very impressive. Especially seeing that they healed/timed Grievous week +15s and +16s on a disc priest.

I just don’t get players like you. You want to put what you do on a pedestal and bash other content. You’re probably the type that says “getting 2400 in arena is easy… you just have to kick and dps hard.”

Been raiding since BC. This isn’t a complex topic. If you want to stroke your neck beard like it is, by all means.

Ironically, most of my gray parses come from fights where I’m entrusted with a very specific and necessary role, and don’t get to pad, with Za’qul and Azshara being two big examples of that, where I basically couldn’t use my pet at all on Azshara, as it had to be constantly out of LoS to handle dispels and spent significant times out of LoS myself soaking the runes, and on Za’qul with our strategy of holding DPS in Phase 1 and how we handled Phase 4 meant that I spent a lot of time just doing nothing.

There is no irony. Your parses on every fight on bad. You consistently got beaten by your tank in damage and you have a boat load of deaths.

If you apply the understanding of how DPS work in M+ to Mythic Raiding, then yeah, I did poorly on those fights. But I did my job correctly and because of that, we got the kill.

M+ has been around for two expansions bud. Before that it was just raiding and arena for me. I’m not applying anything about M+ to what you’re doing. I was a raider first and now focusing my time elsewhere.

Again, I genuinely have to question if you know how to read. Context really shouldn’t be that hard to figure out.

But I’ll help you out again, and spell it out. I wasn’t talking about doing a 15 last season.

I made plenty of mistakes in those runs and completely blasted through it. You’re right in that I haven’t done 18’s, but they’re mechanically identical to 16’s. It’s the exact same content, just bigger numbers.

And again, like the rest of your comments, you’re wrong. You’re doing 15s because that’s what your capable of. The strats change the higher you move up. But again, you haven’t done that. It’s not just bigger numbers that make higher keys possible.

But, of course, you wouldn’t know that, because you haven’t done them.

It is insane that my new mage, which I guarantee will out damage most of the people wanting 1200 IOs for a +4, has not been able to get in to a single group despite maxing out my queue on sign ups.

Except damage isn’t the main factor to running keys. I’d rather take a mage that does 75% of your dps, that follows mechanics correctly, than deal with someone who stands in bad and asspulls packs of mobs. As you work your way into higher keys, in the 10+ range this season, yeah, dps starts to matter a lot more but has to be coupled with players that are compotent at mechanics.

Not directing this to you specifically, just saying in general.

I used to raid heal on a mw monk with a disc priest at my back, mostly through ABT and Uldir. That dude was the best healer I’ve ever seen . . . and even he dropped disc priest to go to resto druid for mythic+.

But that isn’t it at all. First, I’m not fuming. It’s the weekend and I tend to enjoy the banter. The thread isn’t getting derailed because the topic was pointless to begin with. The OP was here to complain. That’s it. And a bruised EGO? Okay. The point of the argument was simply placing experience relative to the topic being discussed. Since someone called me out on it, I responded. I wasn’t here to flex my e-peen. Start your own key and see how many people sign up. Then you’ll understand why so many dps get declined. There’s just SO many dps players to choose from and never enough tanks.

Also if you think watching videos, practicing on a dummy and theorycrafting gives you more experience than actually running keys… lol.

Plays are the problem indeed, but, the tools dont make the situation any better. Blizzard could solve that by disallowing access to the API, but that would also mean wed lose all of our addons, which, I am ok with. I only play with a few, and they really just make my bars and nameplates look better.

Yeah, that sounds about right. They picked up a disc in Uldir that was ah-mazing. Just really, really good. He went to med school around the same time I had major deadlines hit, so neither of us are raiding these days (and I really don’t play much Horde atm). It’s mythic+ or bust.

Talk about narcissism. Do you think your opinion is so valuable that you need to interject here when it adds nothing to the conversation? I already said it. They wanted to attack me and I responded. There is no e-peen. The player was stating things as if they were fact from their limited experience and then attacking me. Me responding to that isn’t flexing.
