i havent had one ability hit 1 mil and these trashcan devs make instant shadow bolts on a dot class hit that hard lmfao.

IDK if caster damage is too outa line but there health bar should kind of move when a melee connects for the brief moment before they are CCd into oblivion
They need to swap the damage profile. Shadowbolt shouldn’t be a top three damage spell as it’s filler.

I think MR should hurt. SB is the filler. If you kick SB, they can just spam MR, which also slaps with the hero talents. Also seems like they never have to hard cast it, nightfall procs wayyyy too much for them.

MR is basically a filler now. You only really want to cast it if its an instant proc or you’re safe to. Getting kicked on MR locks you out of your entire class during that duration where as getting kicked on SB doesn’t.
Oh, I’m aware. Just think it’s wrong. For as often as SB gets nightfall procs, it shouldn’t be instant chaos bolts while you melt away. They’ve got it backwards. MR should be the damage burst, SB is the filler spell.
Affli is way better. Instant shadow bolt hits harder than chaos bolt.

Problem is locks don’t like MR and have stated its bad design to blizz but they wont do away with it. So now we have this iteration of single target affy.
played with a lock doing this. one game he did 20 mil healing top damage, other team druid did 33 mil healing and he just cant die solo so i chill in stealth. He’s using shadowburn spec and no bolts pretty sure.

Locks have been broken since beta, everybody brought it up multiple times how broken they were and the developers chose to leave it as is. I guess they really dont care about pvp.

They’re still on the lower end of pve hence why nothing has been done most likely. Also tbh there are other classes that outshine lock… frost mages, rogues, fury wars, dks and evokers. Let’s look at them first before you scream lock nerfs because shadow bolts hits hard now. We cant even put UA on multiple targets now because the damage is gutted by 60% if we use that pvp talent.

How dare you mention our melee overlords, it is only acceptable to hate on casters or be canceled!
Instant cast 300-400k shadow burns/conflags are not better than instant 1.4 mil shadowbolts on top of all affli’s rot pressure with dispel protection. You won’t convince me otherwise.
