With how easy H Totgc 25+ is, everyone has been given good gear. Many items from HM ulduar 25 are irrelevant. With the val shard changes many guilds have finished off another 2 val’anyrs since totgc dropped.
Its so much harder to pug ulduar hm and you get so much less useful loot from it.
Ulduar 25m should be nerfed like it was in 2008, and i would even consider putting 25m hm loot in 10m.
Lots of people don’t want to run ulduar, and those that do struggle to find compentent groups.
I would think once cata and wrath era are out, we will see people with 6.9k gearscore or so. I mean can you imagine 6900 gearscore. It will be great and we can call having 6900+ gearscore 69ing. My point is with that gearscore uld will be nerfed not by an actual nerf but by how well people will be geared it will be for achievements and people wanting that mace.
Was hoping for a nerf when it was current.
Instead I transferred realms, swapped factions and stopped playing with incompetent people.
Go find yourself a group of like minded individuals and your opinion will also change.
Tons of people haven’t done it. I went in a pug with mostly 5100+ and they couldn’t do thorim. Killed hodir after 5 minutes with 14 people alive. The only hardmode killed was XT. Quit on Freya. Real terror. Some of them had 50/50 tribute achievements.
Sounds like bad leadership and people on alts tbh.
I do 0 light and alg 25 once a week with guild. But it hardly seems worth. People might want 2 out of the pieces of loot that drop (and frags ofcause).
My alts cant find decent groups even though they are all 5.3k gs +
Even my 5.7k rdruid cant seem get into a good pug.
Easy fix – Don’t pug/run Ulduar. If it gives you “so much less useful loot” - why do you want to run it, unless you are trying to make gold running a GDKP (and if that is the case, naaa… keep Ulduar HM just like it is).
OP here, because I still want some items. I also find it a fun raid. It was nerfed in 2008 and should be nerfed now. Its like gated for alts, which is dumb since totgc 10 and 25 are easier than older content, even with the new gear.
It’s really weird how Ulduar normals are harder than TOC normal
Eh, I cleared everything but yogg 0, and I still wanted that place nerfed while it was current content.
It was pretty noticeably overtuned (mostly on DPS requirements).
It made ToGC feel like a joke after they just left Ulduar stay harder than it for that long.
Like… Algalon has the same HP as heroic Saurfang in ICC.
Yea I don’t think they will do much for Ulduar 25. Would have wished they at least buffed loot drops as it’s barely worth my time outside of guild finishing valanyrs.
I think if they at least made 25m drop 50% more loot and twice the hard mode that it would have been fair but it’s just not worth your time much when ToC is way faster and drops more high ilvl loot.
Ulduar as a raid just takes too long for such a small amount of loot. I wish they would’ve at least buffed drop rates on other items instead of just doing it for Valanyr shards. Just let HMs drop two 252s instead of one so we stop getting that dumb leather chest off Vezax that no one has never needed.
I really wish they would nerf it and double HM drops. Vezax is an awful boss that nobody wants to do 8 months in, and there are no other trinket options close to Flare.
With the ilvl buff to Ulduar gear it needs to remain how it is. That gear is as good and better than ToGC gear. It gives this phase more content that’s not face roll easy. Competent players can still get challenged on the fights and it keeps the noobs away…
Vezax is easy…He’s just boring and long winded fight.
Only thing id like to change is timer on general. Everything else is fine.
