Its so bad, but lets get to how its objectively bad instead of yet another post of a random person like me from the alliance whining about losing in pvp!

Shamans in pvp are childishly out of control

While i know burstiness in general is bad right now, Shamans are definetly the biggest offender.

Their viability even outside of PVP is more and more going out of wack with how Immensely overpowered they are. Honestly the community already knows it at this point… just look at the friggin’ logs! Shamans are Broken - Lets look at the numbers heres a more specific deep dive look at whats going on with their numbers

Look blizzard, if ur gonna play favorites and make shamans literally god mode, at least give paladins somthing to level the playing field.

Honestly im sure theres way more stuff im not thinking of at the top of my head… but yes, i will confess i am very frusturated aswell as possibly the rest of the community at how obviously broken pvp is right now. At this point i almost want to suggest to just remove the use of runes in SoD Bgs so we can at least have a somewhat enjoyable experience in there during our time in this server.

Decoy totem and WoE are really their biggest problems. Burst is their strength and should remain so while also having great utility with purge, slow, interrupt and grounding.
Having decoy to remove one of their largest weaknesses needs to not happen, especially when you consider the power of grounding and interrupts AND purge which eliminates instant spell DPS from certain classes.
Some of the damage needs to be re-directed to more recognizable interactions so you don’t just get deleted by overwhelming everything.

You can kinda see who is OP based on how it stacks on BGs and how aggro the players are in pvp.
Yeah the devs in charge of the class changes are clearly people who never step foot in pvp ever and the entire pvp community has to suffer for it

Well yeah they can’t say anything substantiated they need to just spam the forums with hyperbole and imaginary anecdotes.
“I just saw three level 40s get one shot by chain lightning!”
“I have 4000 HP, but a shaman totally one shot me with their 1100 damage lava burst. I totally couldn’t have been focused when I charged into 7 people solo!”
This gets shut down, they hop onto an alt and make another thread.

shamans aren’t number 1 top dogs at anything but tanking. It’s just the lame no ally shamans that is placebo effecting people into this OPness feeling. Just throw a 10-15 reduces damage done onto way of earth just to quite the whiners down. Let shadow priest go completely unchecked for a week and we will be right back to maximum whine overdrive.

Stop being jealous and crying. Your class is underperforming is the devs fault, has nothing to do with other class
i can cry if i want to, im here on the forums sharing my thoughts that yes, me and many many maaaaaany other people are tired of the immense OP nonsense shamans are enjoying especially in pvp. if you dont like it then stick around this forum ad-homineming me all you want it really doesnt matter in the end, sooner or later if this season hopes to stay alive, they are gonna have to tune them down as its a big problem to alot of people you are clearly blind to.

if they are crying wildly out of control then that must clearly mean theres a problem about the class, i cant go thru one bg without the raid saying somthing about shamans ruining the balance of pvp

Warlocks,boomies can do the same amount of burst as ele Enhance will get nerfed. Its not a class issue,its a skill issue. Alliance has too many paladins and warriors,where as horde as mostly casters nuking into oblivion. If you are melee you are gonna get 1 shot,if you dont like that then reroll caster or stop pvping as a warrior.Most good alliance players are rep capped and arent qing anymore. All I see in AB is backpedalling aliance, never once have I seen a hordie back pedal. Horde dominated in PVP in classic until wrath because of the racial, even then they were still superior in bgs.
