Nerf rapid fire please

Doesnt matter if they buff it by 8000%, this spec is still no fun to play. Rapid fire is part of the problem. Ditch it, and bring back the old, proper Chimera Shot from wrath/cata era.

Instructions unclear. Buffing hunter damage.

  • Master Marksman talent effectiveness in PvP increased from 7/15% to 12/25%.
  • Rapid Fire damage is increased by 40% in PvP (was 25%).
  • Explosive Shot damage increased by 20% in PvP.

Side note, I suppose it is time to play MM hunter in BGs again and make all these mage rerolls delete their characters.

What counters hunters? Asking for after tuesday so i know what class to buy

If you dont counter a mm hunter in a arena with your paladin, the problem may be beetwen the computer and the chair

MM is WW upside down especially since they treat the class the same way of just jam it full of dmg until nothing else matters

I actually think that this is the goal. The primary difference being that WW is just a more complete package and is more or less the same amount of good into everything, where marks kind of averages out between being obscenely strong into mages and obscenely weak into various melees. TBH windwalker is pretty much just melee marks hunter that gets to parry when it casts it’s (aoe) rapidfire.

Also people are sleeping on this change for MM and SV both. As comps like marks/unholy phdk, a lot of your damage comes from pairing salvo volley and casted explosive shot with grips/grippy hands every 45. It already hits obscenely hard as SV because of the ranger talent paired with any tiny amount of mastery stat at all. Neither SV or MM need more burst cleave or single target damage. They need their mechanical gaps filled so that they don’t have to be tuned to 140% base to numerically average out their representation statistics at low ratings.

Death knights, there’s not much that can be done about the double grip as a MM. Demon hunters are a solid counter because you can’t get the juicy stealth opener and they have enough self healing to usually shrug off the burst. Good rogue and ferals can be pretty dangerous too.

Most melee are painful to deal with as MM so long as they can overcome disengage and traps/knockbacks. MM is nasty mean if left alone, but can’t reliably get much dps out while melee pounds on their face.

Doubletap got deleted last season for a 10% cd reduction lol this statement is hilarious. There is no hunter dev they toss darts at a board and say ok here we go.

flayed shot mm was the closest thing we had to balanced mm hunter, swear blizzard either makes it 100-0 in .2 seconds or completely useless just like enhance

MM is still B tier at higher ratings. We’ll see what this does tomorrow. I really wish it was some defensive help, as I think this’ll just make us more clearly the kill target in all forms of content. :confused:
