That being said, I refuse to believe you had three defensives with those numbers. That’s just not real.
yea ik i was screaming at the healer every match and he didnt listen. the reason why i hate healers. most healers i get usually stand in the middle of the map allowing themselves to get silenced or hard swapped or just dont care and expect me to do all the work (which i usually do during the match while others just rush 1 target during the match)
Man, people on the forums are absolutely going to hate this. However, it absolutely goes both ways. There are games where dps does dumb stuff and pushes in when they cant or doesnt trade cds. There are just as many games where healers are staring at health bars and position like checkers waiting to get double jumped and hard throw for their team.
Ive been playing mine wod style with just bomb / orb lance icicles + comet into nova and it feels strong. Not even remembering to press ray lol.
I feel like it slips through too cause people are waiting for ray or glacial

To cope just a little bit you still are hurt pretty bad by losing melee uptime even if playing clawing shadows.
Doomburst procs are generated from auto attacks and you still have to apply the wounds in order to do damage from ranged. I think every button ret has is ranged right?

Are we really back to early MoP type of healer dispel playstyle into frost mages? I’m just asking due to my lack of knowledge on current season and all.
I remember healers used to prio dispel all bombs when up against a frost mage to avoid getting slammed by a potential deep/shatter/ffbolt combo.
I mean, yeah? It seems like it’s back to the level it was at before the mastery change to icicles. The old gold wombo is probably much easier thanks to DB too. Bomb → DB → Ring → Shatter probably still works too. Shatter that with a glacial and you can probably delete healers.
as for this, idk but i just confirmed on my mage it’s 5s so yeah if you dispel the mage is gonna bomb lol.
Only sad news I have is that my Freezing Band no longer counts as frozen so it no longer shatters

I’ve seen touch of death hit for almost 700k this season.
Execute on my warr almost hits for 200k and can be spammed.
I think it’s about what is or isn’t capable with the ability. Frostbomb is a cast and forget ability that can be timed & lined up with other abilities. So it’s not that frostbomb can crit for ____ it’s that that crit can be combined with the rest of their arsenal for what you saw happen to our resident Prot god Dab Daddy.

It’s basically just a kill button when the target is below a threshold, yes.
That whole combo is only 3 seconds. Frost stacks haste. Frost bomb cast is 1.3seconds. GS with icy veins is 1.3second cast. Ray is instant and you can see ray hit twice in less than a second so that mage is most definitely stacked with haste. Those are even faster if you get the random timewarp.
