It is actually so unbelievably boring to just be unable to kill anything in this game ever as a class that’s supposed to be a burst spec.
Why is destro lock just an aff lock but infinitely worse
Why does aff lock have burst and destro has 0 single target damage at all
Gut wither and blackened soul and buff chaos bolt and incinerate by 100%
As a Destro main for long time it still feels weird to have DoT as my main dmg source.
Moving damage from Wither to Chaos Bolt and let’s say Shadowburn would definitely help.
And replace Curse of Exhaustion with Entrenched in Flame.
I cant see how it’s be advantageous to play diabolist destro in arena and having to hard cast immolate in the current meta.
Even playing Hellcaller Destro with instant wither, it’s still rough getting out bolts. Imagine having to constantly re CAST immolate with all the dispels going on, let alone a bolt. unviable except for the select few top players.
Either buff wither/blackened soul by another 15% or buff chaos bolt/shadow burn by another 15% and see how we feel again.
Also give conflag the root PvP talent again.
Also if either/immolate gets dispelled or runs it’s full duration it should apply a moderate slow, destro curses are becoming a waste of a global.

Ah! I get people won’t like the idea due to so many slows and roots in the game already.
But honestly, in the current state of the game destro really needs it, more so than back in the day when we actually had it as a talent lol!
If the talent would replace Curse of Exhaustion its a fair trade. You can root if you have Confarglate up but u can’t slow at all.
There are classes much more mobile than Destro doing both.
I’m pretty sure the big brain move is still to play Destro with another caster that needs to be babysat by melee or they will die. Frost mage (or fire/arcane), Aff lock, Spriest, Devoker are all good choices to supplement you actually casting.
One of you gets to play and mash buttons no matter what against double melee comps. It is what is it 
It is kinda funny that Afflic is playing a pseudo destro burst with all the rot from affliction.
But destro was changed to AOE cleave rot. and that’s it.
Yep, & don’t forget they nerfed wither to buff chaos bolt by an amount that still doesn’t justify the cast time.
Unfortunately “cleave” seems to be the theme for most specs this expansion. M+ has taken over the PVP scene even further.
Also doesn’t help with the shuffle mmr and queue times just to not be able to kill stuff. I saw you were 2398 at one stage in shuffle, you 100% should’ve hit 2400 by now it’s ridiculous.
There’s so much working against you as destro right now, makes it hard to wanna sit in 30+min queues for little pay off
Pretty sure every class would agree on more st and less general cleaving, but that’s what the game has become unfortunately.
New whole patch still enjoying chaos bolting people 3 times and their health not moving.
Maybe we rethink the class design of destro so 2 dots isn’t the top damage every game of a burst spec?

Not bad, still think it needs a redesign though.
Destro should have short lasting, short CD dark soul like they used to.
10 sec duration, 1min CD 2 charges is what it used to be and it was perfectly fine, if you get stopped you get punished but you had more windows to burst and they didn’t have to scale damage to be permanently high because we have no burst CD.
Class is in need of surgery and is getting a band-aid, but I guess it’s better than leaving it unattended.
Destro is going to actually good now.
Incinerate gonna actually do lethal damage now and bolt will be noticeabley stronger.
Could potentially see rogue destro or feral destro hpal start farming the ladder.
From the hellcaller tree perspective, & with burn to ashes talent specced, I’m still not seeing incinerate being lethal damage? What numbers would we be looking at for incin?
Right now it’s very rare I even cast incinerates in arena (other than the instant proc) because the damage l/time it takes to cast doesn’t feel impactful, will 20% really change that?
Incinerate hitting as hard as chaos bolt is the most boring tuning change ever tbh.
Blizzard urgently needs to bring back the Dragonflight Season 3 tier set as a talent.
It’s not going to do that.
