This spec is so wildly overtuned and it is like this every xpac since shadowlands.
Bm hunter either needs to not do enough damage to have kill pressure on it’s own, or it needs a big defensive nerf that makes it glass cannon. Spec is currently top 5 damage in the game with 0 effort while also being insanely tanky.
it needs a slightly lower black arrow proc chance, other than that dmg is mostly fine i think. And they need one of their defensive cds removed, they have way too many, there is zero reason they should get so much compared to any other ranged class, it’s ridiculous. But the largest fix I would do is to add a setting option to HIDE ALL MINOR PETS FROM MY SCREEN. It legit breaks the game to queue into 2 hunters, hiding nameplates is not enough, its ridiculous and needs to go the f away.
BM hunter is a natural anti caster, their damage is no so high, the problem is the burst, they can do 8m damage in a burst.
but that its no the real threat for casters? BM has 7 cc, and he can control the target and never allowhim to do any damage.
but is no easy to play whit BM hunter, they has alot of skills, that why the most of the people play whit MM hunter, only pro people can control the BM correctly.

BM burst really isn’t anything special, they can just do insane sustain damage.
the insane burst of the bm is a little hard.
first you need get many pets, whit the calling, then you can use BL and Bestial wrath , and all of they are gonna hitt 40% faster, finally you need use bloodshed, and kill comman , kill comman, all that you can, any pet is gonna hit 500k each one. you can imagine how your target is gonna finish.

they are a lot of combos that need some practice, BM can destroy a Sp in some seconds , you only can be match for they if you are dicipline.

BM hunter has very good damage, and COTW is very strong, but it’s not really “bursty” the way boomy or fdk damage is, for example.
