Depends on your server pop. However, the quest rewards in darkshore and ashenvale are really good. Itâs debatable if the corpse drag to the EK is worth it.
Night Elves donât really offer any benefit in PvP, and not a whole lot in PvE. They have the nicest aesthetic, though.
Undead rogues are probably the best PvP race for the class, though.
What are you doing and how are you playing?
Nelf of course gets the stealth bonus which allows you to ensure openers and also gives you an extra talent point since you have the same invisibility as other races only speccing 4/5 MoD, but people also forget the extra dodge and more importantly the 1% crit.
Are you playing daggers and a crit ambush backstab spec, then nelf for sure. By far you will be doing much nastier burst overall.
If you value never having to carry food, and think that you are going to need avoid fear chains or cc go undead.
Also your rogue pvp trinket breaks fear and sheep keep in mind.
Some people will say escape artist is the way to go, but lets be real here, you arenât eating traps anymore than bunches of fear chains if you are situationally aware, have good cd usage, and playing prep. Which if you arenât, you are putting yourself at a disadvantage in pvp.
So i like to dabble a bit in wpvp and raiding for mmos. As rogue i personally like dual daggers with poisons and stealth mechanics in rpg games.
I also like to get into the roll of who i choose. I do not role play, but i will do say a ninja loot and just say its a rogue thing haha.
I also like to play the underdog which is why im having a hard time deciding on goin horde lol everyone and their mom is horde esp undead rogue it seems.
Edit- I have always had a hard choosing races and classes in mmo games aswell. So i typically go with the least played combos. Why i originally went nelf rogue.

Where did you get you information about racials? Lol. Is a piece of gear with 1% crit a good amount of extra crit? Is 1% dodge on a piece of gear? Both are nelf racials.
Are you playing rogue? You get an extra combo point and possibly even two if you gear right with the same stealth levels as someone specced 5/5 MoD. Which one talent point is the difference between playing cold blood/prep, or cold blood/ prep AND seal fate or premed/ cold blood.
I am just going to say it. If you know what you are doing, nelf is the most offensive race in the game for ambush backstab dagger rogues.
Everyone has grenades, that alone means orc > UD at a high level
Not to mention druids and paladins only major in kit cc is a stun.
You will be eating very few fears doing your job in WSG. Now maybe he didnât mean WSGâŚBut tahtâs pretty much the only pvp that matters in vanilla
Anything orc makes doing anything in WSG just so much more painful. You canât count on your grenades or hard stuns on half the team is just brutal relative to having a bunch of UD memers running around.
Sure my MC cap is less useful and i waste it sometimes. Rather do that than have him adsorb 5 hojâs and never land one of my many perfect nades on him

Then you should deffo roll Horde. The queues are so much better.
Unfortunately been busy this week adulting as a family man lol, so only got to play up to level 5.
I still have my night elf, but definitely contemplating goin full horde now on both servers.
I noticed the UD starting city is much closer, and you seem to level faster then in teldrassel aswell
Edit- im glad its not just me who noticed horde players have a better community. Heck i listened to all those alliance streamers gang up on advertise on a podcast. All cuz he beat them in pvp. Like just sad.
