in what universe? shadow priest doing more dot pressure than affliction? specially on cleave? the locks you played with or watched do play really bad if thats the case.
Im at the top of the dps meters on my raids as sp, yet on arena affliction 80% of the time do a lot more dot pressure on aoe than me.

Couldnt agree any more than that, priests are the most overpowered and broken PVP class right now they are literally immortal if its disc and can 1v3 same with shadow the amount of dmg they absorb and dealing is hilarious

Imagine not knowing void origins isn’t bis right now because lasting plague, fade and void shift are. The burst is telegraphed because void eruption is hard casted currently. So cringe reading this from a fire mage, with actual instant, on demand burst lmfao. I can’t take a 2k capped bfa rmx fire mages opinion seriously.

seems their damage is fine, but their survibility and off healing could be looked at, greater fade is way to good.
I think the missing part with greater fade is busted. I would love it if they just made it a nice freedom and gave immunity to snares and roots

The absolute butchering of the English language aside here, what’s this about a 1v3 now LOL? Priests, not anything for that matter, are 1v3ing anything. I literally don’t care which class/spec, if you got 1v3’d that’s 100% a you problem.

I just AoE cleanse their dots and run around like an idiot for a bit while they do nothing. Silly spec.
There is a reason shadowpriest is dominant on the ladder mate and not boomkin. Boomkins are gimmicky, spriests a busted.
45 sec greater fade is absolutely busted imo, other than that i’m fine with their defensives, and mind games needs to not go beyond its healing threshold if you do percentage healing

My meteor hits for about 10.3k, with Rune of Power + Combust + On Use badge and takes 3 seconds to fall on your head with all of those cds.
for it to crit 17k it would have to be a BG environment with saltwater + berserking.
Please don’t use what happened to you in a BG by saltwater/zerking as the norm.
Also if your sitting in a fully combusted meteor/rune of power/combust go as a shadow priest serious mistakes were made to arrive that point.
RMP’s very reluctant to go spriest unless said spriest made serious and very serious misplays to make himself a worthy target. User error here. 100%
Not really looking into stats but glancing at it now, spriest showing is very strong for a class that isn’t as popular like mage, rogue, warrior. Not to mention priest is the number one healer by far.
It isn’t even about representation. It is the fact that priest is an un-killable nuisance in the game that just pumps damage. Legit the only way to kill that dumb class is kicking shadow, stun locking, and smoke bombing the swap, whilst praying gfade/VE or desparate prayer is on CD.
Utility is wild, steals sheep instant cast no counter player, land sheep on healer oh make sure you saved your interrupt for MD. Lifeswap. Insta range stun.
We rarely even try to go spriest cause it is just a busted class that can’t die. You are probably biased towards your class, but I will straight admit fire needs slight tuning on burst cause it is too good.

No fabrication needed. RMP doesn’t go Spriest unless spriest completely and utterly misplays enough to make him a target.
Spriest partners don’t have fade/disperse/lifeswap/trinket this is 100% user error.
If you are dying consistently to RMP as spriest you need to work on your positioning, fakes and cooldown management.
I’ve never met a rogue or fellow mage that has any aspirations about going after spriests. It would take something like you full channeling a mind sear before they open (serious misplay on your end) to bait an opener on you and which case vs a competent rmp your 100% dead and rightly so.
I’ll CS from invisi and 100-0 combust a shadowpriest in 2-3GCDs any day of week thats a git gud situation.
