Need or greed is in LFR

You do know the system tallies your ilevel to include whatever’s in your inventory, including void storage, right? Pretty hard to game a system that invented the game.

what if you delete the better gear so you have the worse gear so you can then collect transmog?

Simple sell it vendor and then buy them time back after or just the lost item tool

So people will just run lfr in lower gear to qualify for the need. Gimping the raid and hogging loot. Brilliant.

Honestly I just dislike group loot in LFR because it just feels annoying to have to choose what to do for each item over just looting a boss and moving on. Sometimes I actually don’t even know if I need an item, like I accidentally rolled need on a token item that I forgot I had already got awhile ago. Or I’m not actually sure if something is even an upgrade for me and I don’t have time to sit there and figure out, since it’s LFR.

I’d much rather have personal loot back but if Blizzard still feels like it makes LFR feel unrewarding, then just have each boss drop a token that you save up to exchange for loot. That seems like a way better solution than adding group loot back to LFR. I gave it a good college try and went in thinking it might be fine, but honestly it just feels clunky and doesn’t work for LFR IMO.

LOL, are you really thinking you can pull an item restore dodge? If it worked it would be an exploit. Exploiting can get a person suspended or banned.

not item restore. since you can only restore an item every 30 days. who got time for that?

just outright either delete or sell it

Anyway, LFR is not the sole path to gearing in the game. This is really only going to matter to people during the very first raid tier.

Not really is not against ToS. Is simply I deleted all my items by accident coz I was high or drunk. Then after I got over my high or no longer drunk I member I can use gear restore. Of my wife gf kids deleted my items by accident when I log in and wasn’t looking. Tell me how will blizzard prove it was itention.

Blizzard can’t prove nothing unless they a GM sitting next beside me.

Same here, the new system taunts you since you see the item drop and after years of just getting it we now have to pray to the rng gods that we win it. I get wanting group loot back in normal + for guilds but this is a horrible change for LFR.

but but its the same thing as personal loot but now you’re in control of the button!

Because standing around waiting for everyone to roll is a waste of time?

Hard to stay when the queue for another wing pops and you’re on a timer. Glad I don’t raid LFR but I really thought they would at least keep personal loot there. Sorry! It sucks!

it doesnt matter because if you leave you’re still rolling. if you win you get it mailed

If like bfa there will be bag checker code running.

BFA when we saw ilevel scaling hit hard…some said lets try to trick it. Didn’t work.

It see the azerite pieces not worn over legion gear in the pc bag. in the bank vault. And…even void storage. You could not hide the AP armour piece anywhere.

deletion may have worked but at that point…people bit the bullet and wore the AP gear to get slammed by ilevel scaling boss.

your reported ilevel was actually potential ilevel. it was highest of any gear even from storage.

I’ve seen famous streamers get banned for exploits, so don’t be too sure about that. The blues and devs don’t have to prove anything. Everything you view as your virtual property in this game does not belong to you and can be removed at any point. This is also stated clearly in TOS.

yea it would, it just won’t give you something you already have exactly.

How long has it been since we had the good ole (Need/Greed) /roll?

Did you even read?

If your roll gets deleted for simply leaving a run at the end, and people are not rolling till the last second to try and game the system, then that is bad.

Go reread the quoted comment and look at my response.

They’re not cheesing the system. They literally have to stay to get the loot. Why they’re waiting to roll is confusing.
