So many gnomes and humans on alliance side, are dwarves terrible or something for Warriors?
Racial seems solid against Rogues.

Alliance only care about (4) racials: Sword Specialization, Mace Specialization, Hardiness, and Will of the Forsaken.

I’ve been low key thinking about to make an Undead Warrior alt.
Never see any Undead Warriors.
edgemasters are expensive so most just go human

In a field with a ton of competition it really comes down to taking every advantage available to be on top. It’s sadly something that people are pushed into doing because of the way the Meta works.
People play human warriors because sword specialization is the best PvE racial for warriors to have.
People play gnome warriors because escape artist is the best warrior racial for pvp alliance side (and this will continue into tbc, unlike the human racial.)
Dwarf and night elf does not offer either of those things, hence the dearth of them.
Because it’s redundant.
You already have multiple ways to break a fear as a warrior and we have shamans to help with sleeps and other fears.
Undead warrior makes no sense whatsoever

I always end up playing Human Male Warrior for the following reasons
- I name them after fantasy characters, and there are way more interesting Human characters that I resonate with
- Dwarf and Gnome animations look weird at times, and some of the gear fits oddly
- I like Elwynn forrest as a starting zone
- I’m super boring
I would’ve made a dwarf warrior, however my friends went Horde. So i did the next best thing.
The fantasy of being a sturdy Dwarf charging into the frontlines with a shield bigger than me is why Dwarf Warrior is my favorite combination—and why I can only truly enjoy playing as a tank.
Stoneform is also cool as hell.

both dwarf and gnome warrior are good pvp choices, gnome makes one of your worst match ups better (frost mage), dwarf makes your rogue match up better, you can trinket kidney and be able to remove your own blind, it can also help vs undead shadow priest if they are silly enough to use a global+ the mana on devouring plague, problem is to pve on either of these two races for good results you need edgemasters, you are paying a lot of gold to use these racials
Stoneform is a really solid racial all around. Removing Bleeds, Poisons and Disease in addition to 10% more Armor is super good. Meta aside, it is the best survival racial in the game - and even better for Warriors.
My argument has been this. The best 1-H weapons in the game are Swords. Humans have the best PVE output racial as a result. Other than that you go for weapons that have weapon skill on them and gloves/belts - if you are not an Orc who have slim pickins for 1-H axes and everybody wants one.
I always go Tauren because playing without Warstomp feels like I’m missing a core ability. I’m also a believer in being good at your rotation making up for a lot. The meta is unfortunate in my opinion because there is no bad race of Warrior, there are only ones that are better in a sim in the unlikely event you get everything you want in the game before TBC comes out.
But Tauren exists??
