Need Help With Those Locks At The Bottom Of My Backpack, PLEASE!

I don’t know what Blizz wants me to do, and I am hoping someone can simplify that whole long blue page for me…

I once had that little “keychain” thingie, whereby one could authenticate one’s account. Then they stopped that and showed me those locks…

Okay, I have Battlenet loaded on my Android, and I can read chats and stuff on it, but…

I’m getting lost with all the instructions listed to the point where I do not know what they want me to do.

Is there anyone who can simplify this for a 75 year-old Boomer?

THANK YOU!

Donu have 2 things mobile authenticator and sms enabled that will unlock those slots.

No. I just clicked on the bags and it took me to this page that looks like it was put together by the same guy who invented the Enigma. I know they want me to download something, but I don’t understand it all. Sorry. :flushed:

To unlock the extra bag slots you need to add an Authenticator to the Battle.net account and activate Phone Notification/SMS Protect.

You should be able to add your phone number through the Account Management page under “Account Details” then go to the Privacy & Communication preferences and enable “Battle.net Mobile Push Notifications”.

For the Authenticator you should be able to get that started through the “Security” option.

Thanks to both of you, and I’m sorry to have gotten confused, Vrakthris. I’ll give that a shot.

Thanks again!

You never need to apologize for that, Jonas. That’s why we’re here!

It’s been so long since I attached mine I don’t remember all the individual steps otherwise I’d give you a full walk-through.

Here is the support article for downloading and attaching the mobile authenticator to your account. At the little dropdown menu at the bottom of the page, choose “Never had an Authenticator”, and it will give you step by step instructions.
