Need help figuring out where my characters are

Basically, i tried to recover my account i thought i played Shadowlands on by getting rid of the authenticator, which had in theory, among others, my main, a worgen fury warrior, and a beast mastery hunter on the Dath’Remar server i believe. Well, i finally managed to get access to the account thanks to the great GM Areexoenah, but to my sad surprise my high leveled characters are nowhere to be seen, all i had were low level characters that had temporary names.

I tried manually going into the servers, making a new character and login out, deleting the cache, etc. Nothing has worked up to now.

Now at this point this could be caused by many things, so i would like help tracking down the character Benorc on the Dath’Remar server, to make sure its on the right account, because it is the only lead i got. If it is, i cannot see it. If it isnt, im going to need help to recover the account its on.

Thanks for any help provided.

(as a side note, i am posting on here because the support ticket system hasnt been working for me rn)

I found a character by that name - on that realm, but it’s on a totally different account - under a totally different name than the one you are on - and totally different country - different continent even.

really? weird, because i named it uncreatively after myself and it matches exactly when i checked it on the armory, its a level 50 beast mastery orc. Now im really puzzled.

You said many of your chars had been flagged for re-name. Is it possible that the char name was taken by someone else while you were gone?

Nothing like that on this account.

Now, perhaps you misremembered the name - or the realm. Your description matches that character, but the account doesn’t match the one you are on.

Do you remember any other characters/realms? I think another bnet is probably involved, it just doesn’t look like that one.

i had a worgen fury warrior, Benhorn was probably his name but this was 3 years ago so im not sure

Ok, found that account - and it does match.

Under a variation with a number and gmail.

Does that help at all?

Still nothing that matches the first one - not even a character on Dath’Remar - but other higher level characters on Sargeras, Thrall, Tichondrius and Wrymrest Accord.

I am going to check another email of mine and see if that might be it, at which point my question becomes, can i refund or transfer a subscription and expansion?

You can try through the self-help refund page, but these usually require a ticket.

I have checked my other email and have found transactions that point to it being the account i was looking for, thank you for your help :slight_smile: Now to try and get refunded so i can set that account up. Have a great evening/day

It was a twist but it all turned out great in the end! Looks like the account has been located and hopefully the OP can get a sub refunded and then buy one for the proper account.

Hi Orlyia,

I am struggling to find my characters / account that I started playing on the day or the day after WoW launched. I was 13, so I am having a hard time remembering my email…I tried customer support but I just got an email back asking the same questions.

I am looking for my characters;
Sickmage - Undead Mage (Pretty positive I releveled a mage from 1-60 just so I could use the undead skill to remove fear)
Elizabeth - Undead Priest
Dogbone - Undead Rogue
Magtheridon was the server I played on, but I did move the characters at some point. Arthas, and to another server when I was chasing friends later on but I cannot remember my account email now.

Any way to help me find this account?

Found one that seems like it might be yours. Email starts with B4. and is a yahoo address.

That is the correct email. I cannot remember the rest. I was 13 when I started and stopped using that a very long time ago.

Is there any way I can prove this so I can get access to that account again? Follow up question, is there a way to merge the account so I can have one account.

the rest is a name/number.

You’ll need to go through a ticket if that isn’t enough to jog your memory.

They’ll likely ask a list of questions - which you’ll need to supply back through a ticket.

And no, unfortunately, no way to merge accounts.

Wow, I got in.

Is there a way to merge my two email accounts with blizzard into 1 email account? Maybe a link you can send me to?

Strange that I am missing the priest Elizabeth. Any idea what happened to the character?

Sickmage changed to Radmage - so confusing.

No, the only way that ever happened was moving the license - but that was stopped some time ago.

Elizabeth became Vertia on Frostmane.

Okay, I remember one account was a big deal back in the day.

I guess I got what I was looking for. Now that I think about it, I am missing my 60 Warrior, but maybe it was a different account. I played this game an unhealthy amount.
