Need Customer Support Please!

I just tried to log on WoW Forever Beta after maintenance and it says my account has been suspended?!?!? I don’t have any bad character names or even talk to anyone really, much less say anything bad the times I do talk! Why on earth was I suspended and can’t even appeal it on account restrictions??

Customer Support is unable to assist with any action that took place on your beta account. The following was posted by the Game Team.

We are in the process of issuing forced name changes to characters found to be in violation of our character naming policies that were created in the Forever Beta. Additionally, we have removed beta access for some users who created names that were far outside of our Code of Conduct. The use of dual names has allowed players new levels of creativity and personalization with your characters, some took this opportunity to reveal too much about themselves and will no longer be participating in this Beta.

The World of Warcraft team takes the safety and inclusiveness of our game very seriously. These actions were performed directly by the World of Warcraft Development team and were individually reviewed. The Customer Service team cannot and will not assist with any appeals. Our system for enforcing naming standards will be coming online very shortly, we would appreciate testers refraining from “testing” this system, as you run the risk of being actioned and losing access to the Beta. Please keep your character names respectful and within policy.

Ya I didn’t make any offensive names, there’s nothing under my account restrictions either.

1: There Is No CS for the Beta, it’sa Beta. It is under the purview of the Devs/QA and CS has No part in it, at all.

2: Personally I don’t believe you. As we have seen in the past week or so, Everyone claiming they had “No bad names” has been lying. Remember, the Devs can see the names you created even if you “didn’t log in” to “test the name”.

There wouldn’t be as this is a penalty applied specifically by the Game Development team. It cannot be appealed.

As noted, Customer Support has no involvement with these. We cannot review them or make any adjustment. Sorry.
