The grind is simply not currently worth it without the future of my character being 100% known.

It never has been, and you were warned about this from the beginning.

I’ll just point here:

If you want your character to end up in Era, then level and play on Era

Otherwise, expect to move into TBC if you’re playing anniversary realms. They were clearly labeled as “progression realms” from the start. If you want to play at 60 permanently then anniversary realms simply aren’t the correct place to be playing. It’s a TBC waiting room and that’s it.
