Need before Greed: Why causals and solo players quit

He knows more about PvP and arenas then both of us put together.

But PvE and PvP are different enough that they could almost be separate games.

We just want transmog, OP. It’s not that serious.

World first raiders were clearing mythic raids and dealing more at 390 item level while LFR players are pulling 10k DPS and barely beating tanks.

It’s not about gear.

Most players do not play their class anywhere near optimally. That is where most of the dps come from. Fundamentals.

You can take a R1 pvper and give them mythic gear and assuming they did mechanics and knew the fight, I guarantee you they would be #1 or close to it on the DMG meter. I can take your average mythic raider and put them in a high-level arena and most would die in 5 seconds.

That’s the big assumption. Being an R1 PvP player implies absolutely nothing about how familiar they are with the raid. If that assumption proves false, they will be just as dead to Razageth or Dathea as the mythic raider who doesn’t do arenas would be in high rated PvP.

It’s just a truth of this game that raiding and arenas test different skills from each other.

You can almost touch the stars with how far you’re reaching with this bad analogy. You must do yoga.

Yup. This new model means roll need on everything you can and peace out when you’re done.

This is why group loot sucks.

Typical responses about get a guild, run normal, etc. are all fine. LF content should all be personal loot as it worked previously.

This was also the result of the old model.

Yes that’s exactly what people that make posts like these think should happen. The level of entitlement is wild.

Seems extremely unfair

Players playing the game are absolutely evil!

It can happen but its as rare as the raider being a glad.

Ive had glad players try to jump into mythic raiding. They are rarely anymore impressive then people who do +20s.

Usually how unpredictable raiding is to high level pvp throws them.

WHat’s unfair ?

Blizz already sees it as a design or bug problem and is fixing it along with people being able to receive multiples of the same item is dropped at the same time.

Win the need roll on one you get and the other goes to someone else .

I’ve seen people need win the same tier token in a run and kept both , while others struggle to even get gear outside of the vault.

If I kill a boss i should get to roll.

I agree but if you have a higher version of the item it shouldn’t be a need roll .

Need is for those who actually need the gear to use as in the stats or say tier bonus for game play .

Transmog isn’t a need for playing , it is a want and should be a greed roll type situation.

So yes you should be allowed to roll either greed or disenchant. Now if it is case that it will say complete a tier bonus then yes by all means you should be able to roll need . Just as long as said item is not detected on character or in any bags including bank .

That’s effectively saying i should never roll and to make an alt for transmog.

I answered the question asked. Its the open need rolls, its something the LFR crowd will not get use to, thus making it a toxic loot system, specially if a higher geared player gets one, or even two pieces off a boss. LFR was FARRRR better with PL, and or “Postmaster Loot”. Its the “knowing” that these players are Openly needing on every piece that causing all the trouble.

If you cant see that, then i have no idea what to tell you and Caps.

Gonna do both wings of LFR tonight to celebrate Friday the 13th.

I think OP should just go back to making wow videos, IYKWIM :smirk:
