The quest: “The Bloodcurse Legacy” starts with a note in the mail. When I first talked to the npc that starts the quest (after completing the quest from the npc, Messenger hermesius, you get the note in the mail) I went to the mailbox and opened the letter. It gave me the mail itself, instead of the quest starting item. I deleted it, because I was going to go do other things. But, now I want to do the quest. Could a GM please help?
You could put in a ticket, there are no gms present on the forums. But first I would advise checking out sites like wowhead to see if there is more information about this item.

There are no GMs on the forums. This forum is an information desk of sorts to learn how to navigate the support systems.
In your case you need to talk to the Admiral it seems. Read the comments on the Wowhead link.

Go to the landing you can pick up the quest there. Odeyseus not sure of spelling.
