Necrotic Aura Stacking, Army of the Dead Stacking

Just got done facing off a multiboxer with roughly 25 unholy death knights. Normally, multiboxers aren’t a huge issue and can be taken down by sheer numbers, but two things changed that: Necrotic Aura and Army of the Dead.

Picture this: 8% magical damage bonus to every player in range times 25. That’s a 200% magical damage bonus against all players within a certain radius. That combined with a list of magic-based spells on 25 characters. Also, 25 instances of Army of the Dead gibbing and lagging out an entire area. While standing on things like ledges, the raised dead would spawn on the player and kill them instantly.

The guy pinned down Dazar’alor for over an hour then just logged off when he got bored of instakilling my 40-man.

Whether or not he was using multiboxing to ruin an entire city of players’ time doesn’t matter (because Blizzard gets their money why would they care? ). What matters is is something needs to be done about things like DK aura stacking and other abilities that can be heavily exploited by player numbers whether it’s through multiboxing or coordination. I’m sure there are tons of other spells that can be exploited in the same fashion, but these are two I picked up on.

Pro tip: Next time we come to your city… leave the zone. Or continue to feed us HKs… whichever you prefer.

Also, it isn’t army of the dead, it’s reanimation which is a pvp talent, and necrotic aura has an 8 yard range. So you were a) unable to kill 5 hp zombies, and b) trying to zerg a boxer with 25 (26 with mine) necrotic auras… that makes most abilities a one shot on anyone caught within those auras.

What are your computers specs buddy?

Agreed. AOE has gotten to the point where single target effects are virtually irrelevant any more.

This gnome here, is way no one and i mean no one likes unholy DKs in world pvp. And being a multi box unholy is dirty dirty. :skull_and_crossbones:

Now I don’t want to spoil anything here but there’s an NPC under the radar on Horde side that can be used to deal with large groups, or in this case large multiboxers, that hasn’t seen the light of day yet.

If I was there, that DK and his alts would’ve been killed faster than the speed of light.
