Don’t act as if spam-whispering players in /who is what makes an MMO an MMO. The inauthenticity of what you’re saying is true to form of anti-RDF.
So, harassment is socializing? I’d bet people beg to differ.
You do realize that RDF is literally grouping up with people… right?
Oh? So youre saying Wow sub 3.3 wasnt an mmo? Youre saying games like Everquest, Ultima Online, Ashrons call, Dark Age of Camelot. All “not mmo’s”
Hmmmm…guess im getting old if my memory is failing like this.
You said it yourself did you not? You want to hit a button to get the dungeon done as fast as possible.
You admit you want a single player game. Good. Lets move on.
The term “MMO” has no criteria of socialization. The only criteria for a game to have this category is to have a certain number of players online at a time.
Do you complete those dungeons alone? Yeah… didn’t think so.
Now this is some mental gymnastics.
I play other games with RDF all I have to do is press 1 button and continue on with whatever activity I was doing, no time spent trying to put a group together.
So you want a single player game?
Are you going to keep confirming this how many times?
How is any iteration of WoW a single-player game?
Exactly, so we dont need RDF since this is not a single player game.
Glad we finally can agree together.
So, you’re saying none of WoW’s iterations are single-player games?
I’m saying nothing of the sort.
Being social isn’t inherently valuable, or what makes an MMO an MMO. Steam games can be social. CoD can be social. It’s the quality of social interactions that is far more important. Low quality social interactions like “BRD?” “Sure.” aren’t worth much.
Exactly! So you agree RDF detracts from the game since it isnt a single player game!
Finally finding some common ground.
…you realize you just admitted Retail isn’t a single-player game, yet it has RDF, right?
So you want a single player game.
Got it.
And we both agree that RDF detracts from it and made it worse.
We can be friends now.
…what? If you wanna troll, try a LITTLE harder.
Yes anything is more effort than zero, which is literally what it takes to get puked out into a random dungeon with RDF. Thanks for playing.

Doesn’t all of WoW consist mainly of pressing buttons? I don’t think the number of buttons pressed is the deciding factor for whether a game is singleplayer or multiplayer.

So you want a single player game and arent interested in the mmo aspect.
Got it.

I’m just quoting these so that you can’t erase them in the future.
