I wish I was surprised, but I’m not actually. It’s how modern AAA game publishers all seem to operate. Is this the Activision version of a ‘Surprise Mechanic’?

Possibly. But perhaps players that have left because of what the game has turned into since the pet battlers took over might come back once they are gone <3

That’s fine, but if you weren’t misled, you could have done it during S2 for a 385 weapon.
Look I think 415 was way too strong … but 370 is useless. Not telling anyone doesn’t allow us to plan/prepare accordingly.
They need to honestly pull their head out of their proverbial you know what.

Not at all. I enjoy the game well enough now. I have no intention of going back to classic.
But the game will never be good attempting to cater to players at the fringe of every path. Pulled into too many directions.
I do find if funny that players are complaining that they aren’t getting a mythic weapon for 2 minutes of questing but plan to play classic where relevant gear only comes from raiding or being #1 on your server for pvp.

You know I’ve watched a lot of the videos and none of them market a 2 minute quest reward.
NOt at all. As I said I am unsubbing because of the way Blizzard lied about it. Now Blizzard is removing posts.

It isn’t that simple. Classic is hot garbage too - Nazjatar is a whole lot like that.
They appear to be making content for the same type of players and all I can say is I am very glad I didn’t go buy more shares last week.

U can still do the 375 weapon from s02 if u havent done it. U just cant improve ur rating but the pvp cap should work.
It’s not so much the missing reward, it’s them lying about it. And it’s a bad lie at that, they didn’t even put any effort into making it more believable.

I was running with a 385 gun for over 6 months, until last week when I got a 390 weap…I got my first 400+ from the chest this afteroon. Streamers who blizzard picks to do advertising for them - marketed a 415 weapon for that quest.

Cool but unless it’s from Blizzard’s marketing team, Blizzard never marketed a quest item. Random people talking about something that they themselves should know might change is fairly dumb on their part.
