Multi boxing taking advantage of the 5 cap per herb/ore limit. It’s so annoying. That with the shard hoping sigh.

I never see anyone mining.
They are a business. What should happen is remove the herb/ore cap imo. So other players can get a shot.
As much as I disagree with it, multiboxing is not against the TOS.

On my realm 1 Anchor Weed is 80g, let’s say for example you get 2 herbs per node. 80g x 80 herbs (2 per each of the 40 characters) = 6400g per node. Assuming the price of herbs isn’t nuked straight into the ground.
That means you can at least tap it yourself. And stuff like that has diminishing returns. So they would have an incentive to not go too hard. Cause either they are paying there sub accounts with gold or money (if they are rich or using someone else’s). Too much material would bring prices down which could be good for other people. I would just see problems with latency.
You do know that after a node is tapped it vanishes after a set time limit right?

I see this quoted all the time. When was the last time you or anyone can remember seeing a blue post to the effect that a wave of suspensions or bans had gone out over botting? There have been bans imposed for other activities during BfA but I cannot recall seeing one done for botting.
Yes it is, but if it includes activity that identifies the multiboxer as a botter, then it isn’t. Doesn’t matter if it’s one toon or 5, the activity undertaken is what matters.
I’ve been getting tons of resources from Nazjatar on all of my alts just perfectly fine.
Its not multiboxing when they move in a giant perfect doomstack and have no hesitation to interact with the node.
Boxers have a leader, and a doomstack of followers, and then they have to run slightly past the node, back pedal 1-2 steps on the leader, mount and dismount, or hit a camera view macro to line up the cameras and then interact with the node. You can broadcast mouse movement because of latency. It just doesnt work. YOU HAVE to have a leader for everyone else to follow.
These druids and the guys on the robot horse are all in a perfect doomstack with no leader. It looks like boxing, but its definently a newer private bot being used by several people.

I think the assumption is that they’re mining the herbs/ore/etc so that they can make gold to buy tokens, thereby not spending any money at all. If they do it manually, then whatever, but if they’re using a bot to collect resources when they’re not even at their PC, they deserve a long ban.

This is still happening and sadly it does not look like reporting will fix it.
I wish they would add the nazjatar nodes to the 8.3 assault zones to help my problem of being able to actually find the herb/ore outside of the auction house.

I couldn’t care less about the multi-boxers, it’s allowed so ok. If you want to waste real money to farm for fake money, whatever. I landed at the same time as a pack of druids in flight form and clicked the node but there was no loot available. Blizzard needs to fix the number of taps or reduce the cost of flasks/pots. It’s way too expensive.

Chinese gold farms now multibox, make the gold, load the accounts up with stuff like other games and pets and all the crap you can get with Blizzard Balance. Then they sell the accounts online.
This is the new bot method. They don’t use gliders anymore because that gets the accounts banned before they get to sell them. If they multi-box it all the account stays legit until its sold then it gets flagged but the process and damage is already long done by then.
Its not as simple as bots bad/multi-boxers good now. This is how they get around what looks like legit attempts on Blizzards part to stop it.
Why not just hunt them? That’s what I do.
Today I saw 3 different packs of multiboxing druids flying around. Still collected all the zin’anthid I needed.
