Nazjatar feels so empty and lifeless

Dont worry. I imagine if it goes on long enough they will whip up some AI for the Horde to play with in WPvP. They already pulled out all the stops with increased rewards and quests after all.

You are complaining about WPVP and no Alliance? Where have you been hiding because there is no point for Alliance to turn on WM. Why do you think they started adding initiatives way back? The factions are insanely imbalanced and you expect Alliance to turn on WM?

How about you faction change? How about the devs start treating the Alliance with equality? Until the favortism stops (which it won’t) more and more Alliance will keep faction changing.

Crazy thought, what if they actually gave ally races like PvP worthy racials again 0.0 Almost every ally racial is utility except the kultiran one while almost every single racial on horde side either directly increases damage, debuffs or ccs. They said they learned like 3 xpacs ago people will pick damage and CC > Movement Utility.

It has been discussed at last Blizzcon and they decided to make fun of the Alliance instead.

Actually, I think there is a dynamic they could exploit that would solve this.

After every new piece of lore is released you see a spike in complaints about ‘oh great, they made the Horde evil again… why are the Aliiance always considered the good guys?’, so why not go with it?

Have an event where the Horde and Alliance hug it out to defeat the big bad and then add a story line where a coalition of significant Horde and Alliance NPC’s declare that enough is enough and we must all submit to their rule. The rest of the NPC’s declare their opposition and the battle is on!

This replaces the race based faction war with a good old fashioned good version evil alignment war were the players can choose a side no matter if they are Horde or Alliance. This also opens up an interesting possibilities for a new reward structure base on reputation with your alignment.

It’s almost as if the devs favored one side for years, and by the time they fixed the problem it was too late. But that surely isn’t the case, of course not.

Who wants to play alliance…woof.

This was the case for me on my horde last night too, then I switched characters and decided to turn off Warmode off just to see…and the difference was MASSIVE. The place was absolutely teeming with players of both factions. I think its just the Warmode phase right now that is severely lacking.

WoW in general feels devoid of other plays 90% of the time. Blizzard’s sharding tech is garbage.

I’ve been playing ESO a lot lately and I constantly see and meet new people. You go into one of the new cities and there’s probably at least 100 players running around.

WoW, on the other hand, never has half as many anymore due to the way it shards everything out.

Blizzard’s servers crap themselves when there are just 40-50 players in a given zone anyway though so it is probably for the best until they can get that sorted.

Still, though, it’d be nice if we had fewer denser shards.

They really need to just get rid of sharding and cross-realm if possible. I’ve had some where it was 3k to 80 and others where there were enemy assassins on each point and none of us able to touch it. I don’t know any players I see walking around and like you are saying sometimes it’s completely empty and lifeless even though it just launched.

This doesn’t feel like a world.

Warmode is meant for Horde. Alliance have their separate mode. Ideally the factions should never see or interact with one another. Alliance are an endangered species. Can’t have horde hunting them in extinction so they must be separated.

The game is doing great population wise. All these posts about how dead the game is are either trolls or people that don’t know what they are talking about.

Egypt is thataway -->

Awesome. So barren sea floor for world content and a series of hallways and rooms for instanced “city” content. Yup, totally gonna get those Suramar feels.

Bu… But I have a permit that’s good for life! Well, actually, multiple lives… I tend to die from time to time.

I don’t think you read my post at all given your post. My concern is not about the general game population, its about how that population is spread across the factions.

No no, that’s Uldum. It gets easily confused, I get it.

People play where the other people are. You’d have to be almost crazy to want to play the Alliance being as dead as it is. You have no chance at end game.

Most people aren’t going to the new zones for PvP. There isn’t really anything worth doing there PvP-wise.

Right now it’s all about the rep farm and getting those followers leveled up, neither of which benefit from War Mode.

Welcome to our world. We turn warmode on and get jumped by 20 horde to 1 alliance everywhere we go. I mean ffs there was a quest in highmountain yesterday that our addon read 144 horde and 12 alliance. We couldn’t even hand the quest in.

My guild was warning people away from going there with Warmode on for that exact reason.
