Yes this topic is virtually identical to my first one so I’ll humbly beg your forgiveness but with more and more chatter concerning WotLKC I figured I’d do it again.
Dear Blizzard,
If you would be so kind as to preserve “original” Naxxramas/Onyxia once you release WotLKC and create access to those versions much in the same way if not identically to how you implemented the ability to change WotLK raids between various versions (10/25/normal/heroic) so that I and the other couple of people who have no semblance of a social life who enjoy soloing old raids to collect things can do so I would be eternally grateful. Each version of the two raids will still exist (WotLK Naxxramas/Onyxia of course in WotLKC and “original” Naxxramas/Onyxia in SoM and possibly even TBC SoM) unlike when you overwrote the original versions when you released WotLK the first time around so simply creating access doesn’t strike me as necessitating much if any time/work/resources. No I don’t expect you to read this and no I really don’t expect you to implement this idea but it doesn’t hurt to ask right?
Sincerely,
Some Random Person Who Has Eschewed a Social Life in Lieu of Playing WoW Too Much
By posting to a public forum you welcome any and all opinions, even ones that challenge or dismantle yours.
Ok, well if you didn’t want to have discussion on it, you probably should’ve submitted an in-game suggestion instead of posting to a public forum about it. Public forums are meant for discussion.
Nah, I’m never gonna engage with you in a normal way. You’re a concern troll that gets off on clowning on the forums. I will post whatever I want whenever I want and request whatever I want whenever I want.
Tis’ a shame, I thought we could have an adult discussion about this. Right now, you’re derailing the thread a bit for these ad hominem attacks.
Certainly, unless it violates the CoC, which both ad homs and derailment does.
With that out of the way, I think we should return to the topic at hand, if you please. Here’s my original reply which you didn’t give serious consideration to yet. Please, look it over:
Blizzard will forever be on their warpath of ‘authenticity’ because they’re still not done throwing this whole Classic thing back in our faces after giving them so much trash about it.
Even from forced retirement JAB gets his pay back.
Classic/crusade are already preserving them… not that anyone really cares. Classic realms are deserted and no one runs old raids on crusade. You’re asking a company that already doesn’t care about these games to go out of their way to do something most players also don’t care about. I’m not against it, but I doubt it’ll ever happen.
“Classic Era is literally dead.”
-To be fair though, Blizzard basically killed it themselves, and crusade will suffer the same fate. I’m just glad I got to enjoy them again before the ships were inevitably sank by their own creator.
“Even from forced retirement JAB gets his pay back.”
-Blizzard never wanted to rehost these and it is clear they were bullied into it by shareholders. They have no respect for the games nor players. The employees probably hate being told to work on these. Classic/crusade didn’t even get its own community council section and are barely ever mentioned in the one that exists.
“40 man nax is removed in wrath because naxx gets moved to North rend.”
-I already know this. Not quite sure why you felt the need to remind me.
Well its a stupid damn request. People who have never worked a day in the gaming industry need to stop suggesting moronic ideas. There are REASONS these raids are gone, besides storyline and the prestige of being that guy RP walking around Daladan in full t3.
Except in your vaunted Classic Era, soloing the content in question isn’t exactly feasible. I’m convinced people read perhaps the first line or two of a post and immediately reply with the same tired response, “Classic!” If this isn’t something you want or would otherwise be interested in great. I’m sure there’s another Lemonfont topic that could use your attention.
