Just do what I’m planning on doing and play 1 character on classic and one on retail.
you did say pre raid, this is the best you can get into pre raid. stats and defensive wise. if you want i can rework it to inlcude the round trip of daily heroics and daily raid bagdes?
That is NOT the best you can get into pre raid. I literally ON MY CHARACTER RIGHT NOW, IN GAME, have a far superior set than that lol.
I can never play just one on retail. I’m too gold hungry. When I dip below a million gold I feel broke, cause it disappears fast in retail if you’re not paying attention.
But… It’s easily made too. I pick a “main” for the expansion, and roll the other 5 alts for gold stuffs, like dailies etc. For shadowlands it was all the callings. Made me many millions, and if you’re caught up, it was 20 minutes a character per day, depending on the quest of course.
All in all - it was pretty easy money

Because, as I said it’s impossible to do in pre raid gear while maintaining 1300 block value. I don’t get what you don’t get about that statement.
There is zero chance you’re hitting 30k armor, 0 chance you’re hitting 9% hit + expertise cap, maintaining 540 def rating AND having the 1300 required block value for active mitigation and threat.
With your gear setup you’re at 57% total mitigation. With mine, you sit at 71%. That’s a HUGE difference my guy. You talk about optimization and you’re clueless about it.
again, do you wish to see me add , badge vendor gears, you can get i200 from vendors, so once again do you want me to add more tuning or not? i will not be touching, nax, os, voa, or malygos, only whats in badge vendor in dal

I literally have all the heroic gear, all the rep gear, all the badge gear. You will literally be posting a build with the same exact gear that I have lol.
The only difference in the characters will be 1 trinket and 1 gem because I’m not a JC on this toon “yet” and I see you’re using JC
I have enchanting and inscribe, I originally wasnt going to make this character my main tank so I have sub par proffs. I’m dropping scribe for JC though.
Why invite somebody who puts in less effort than somebody who puts in more effort?
If your in quest gear, no enchants, tbc gems, I won’t bring you to a raid. There’s somebody who will do your job better and put in more time to prepare.
Why would I dampen 9 or 24 others time by bringing someone who’s gear shows they don’t care or try?
Raid spots are earned, not given
The same could be said for Heroics except you have a loot council in LFG and gear Reqs for that too. Heroics aren’t hard but no one wants you rolling on their gear. They also want you in BiS so the run is easy. This is established by the community and why LFG is a toxic tool.
Naxx you need BiS gear and enchants and find a group that doesn’t need what you need. That is the Requirements. You also need flasks, feast, food, pots to be ready to put up the best numbers to pass Dps check or get kicked.
Dps check isn’t against the Mob or Boss it’s against the Raid group you are in. Times have changed.

I agree, they are. I just meant people are generally far better at the game now, so it’d be much easier to do it in bad gear than it would have been back then (even though it was already pretty easy then). You’re absolutely right about the community now and it’s a real shame.
Why raid with dead weight?
I’m not spending my time, gold and lockout to carry somebody who can’t learn their class or a boss fight.
You joined to clear the raid, you opted for it, the minimum you are expected to do is do it properly and be knowledgeable on it.
If you aren’t, somebody else will be and you’ll be left uninvited the next time and your reputation will spread across discord’s and guilds.
Want a no issue raid where you don’t need to know a thing? Lfr is in another castle

Yes this 14 year old game is very difficult and should be taken very seriously. Form your raid groups how you’d like. But jeeeez I just hope you’re having fun

I don’t raid to waste my time and gold nor the time and gold of my fellow raiders.
Be prepared or be prepared to be removed.
