Naxx requirements

Also, you don’t need to clear Naxx on the first night. You really don’t need great gear to take down Spider Wing at least the trash and probably Noth and Raz. That’s five bosses and a ton of trash you can nab easy gear from.

So an achievement if it’s completed under X item level? I like it!

You misrepresented a key detail. Who knows what else you misrepresented? You’ve lost all credibility as far as I’m concerned.

So what you’re telling me is you still don’t understand how fast gearing is in Wrath? It takes roughly 15 minutes to do a heroic. Some a little more “Think occulus, 20ish minutes”, some a little less “Think AN, 8ish minutes”.

As I said, it took (2) heroic world tours to get 95% of my gear. That’s 7 hours of game play. 3.5 hours per heroic lockout. After that we simpy did the heroic/normal dungeon daily, and I farmed UP for the sword. Thankfully UP was the daily on Thursday.

You tell me? I want to play casually… But all the tryhard toxic gatekeepers cried until Blizzard removed RDF that allowed me to do so. Now I need to dedicate my first born and 4 hours a day to spamming LFG to do a dungeon.

not really, it only means youre good at getting gears, not optimising them

I didn’t misrepresent anything. Just because you choose to not take things within context, does not mean things were said with ill intent. As I said in a previous post, it took 18+ hours for me to hit 80. It’s obvious to anybody with half a brain that would take my Monday game session into Tuesday.

But like I said previously, it’s no skin off my backside if you do or dont beleive me. And I honestly don’t know why I keep feeding the troll. It’s clear that’s all you are, and the only reason you ever commented on this thread.

I’m actually quite good at building gear sets. Pre raid BiS for tanks has very little wiggle room in Wrath. And depending on professions it can limit those options even more.

I’m assuming with the gear breaks that you listed, your’e talking about Nax geared Tanks, Heals, and DPS and pulled them off of some random web page. Because in pre raid gear, you’re simply not going to get the numbers you posted.

As others have already posted, they are FULL BiS as well and still under Def cap. I subbed out my JC trinket for a Def trinket taking a 900’ish" hp hit to get Capped.

I’m Def capped, expertise capped, 2% under hit cap, and I have 15.5% block with a block value of 1300. Dodge at 21.5% and Parry at 16%.

So I’m over the 50% avoidance, 26k HP unbuffed, and can’t be crit. I’m not sure in what world that’s not optimised, I don’t know what is.

And also, if you think you can do better… show me how. What gear should I get that would be better? Like I said, I would gladly go farm different gear if there is better to be had.

find me a link or site where i can create a build ok? im currently trying to find one

Wait, you’re telling ME how to optimize a character and you’ve not yet built a tank? lol wow.

Guess I should have used a weeks PTO for a video game, apparently I did it wrong.

80 upgrades dot com you rookie.

Get hit capped you fool.

No reason to use any PTO. As I said already, I didn’t use any. The effort and time needed is quite low if you can level at a decent xp per hour. And once you hit 80 you will be close to full pre raid gear in full heroic runs.

hit capped as a prot pally is 5th on your prio list. In pre raid gear you’re not going to be def capped, expertise capped, and hit capped while having 1300 block, and 50% avoidance.

Nice attempt at trolling though.

working on the set up come back when im done  for the record i will be using crafts, and rep items.

I know they buffed it some, but this is today’s community. I remember my guild back in the day smoking through Naxx, even when no one knew the fights and plenty of people were still using some quest gear.

I agree that people CAN go into Naxx with gear from leveling, but I’d recommend that you replace it with level 80 gear, just to avoid people throwing a fit over seeing green text.

In pugs, you’re absolutely right. Guilds will obviously be more lax about that stuff though, especially if you raided with them in TBC and they know you.
