Just go back out to the zone and turn war mode off and kill Nathan again a WQ should pop up.
UPDATE:
Noticed the WQ was reset for me in EPL while I was about to fly to Searing Gorge to get the cloak.
I did die again in the raid but I decided to stay dead as Nathanos was at 20% left so I stayed dead until the end. Got a dagger for my correct loot spec.
I’d recommend if you die and he is 50% or less health you wont have enough time to run back so just stay dead. Loot went into my bags even though I was dead/not released.

Can confirm the quest showed back up for me and I was able to get the weapon.

I’ve been able to get loot on almost all the characters I’ve tried so far, except on my rogue.

QUICK UPDATE
My world quest has reset in EPL and I was able to kill Nathanos and receive loot.

Same, I got my loot, and not until then, cancelled my ticket.
Ok, since its fixed, you won’t probably find out for yourself, but no, no role play I fear =/

That’s hilarious. Sure do miss when Blizzard was in touch with the community like that. Those little things made Azeroth seem a lot more sparkly.
