Same problem, submitted a ticket but I’m rather irritated by this because this is an old bug that should have been fixed back in Legion.
Same thing died during boss, no loot. Maybe the game patch fixed it for people who haven’t played yet.
All I know is, for the toon that completed it, it fixed nothing. No reward in the mail, no boss showing on the map.
Same happened to me just now, really annoying! WQ complete but no loot and no WQ to try again.

That is annoying, sigh…hopefully the reports of Ice Crown rares dropping 110 ilvl now instead of 100 will have weapons in their loot table.
The reward is supposed to be from a world quest, which apparently isn’t popping up for a large number of people, myself included. Also if you die to Nathanos trying to do the world quest, it just vanishes and won’t pop again.

Ya I’m cheesed. Apparently there is a fix now where people are getting the correct loot spec weapon in a cache but that doesn’t help those of us who killed him already.
If I try again later today I am probably going to keep my distance after tagging him and just make sure I don’t die. The run back takes about 30-45sec.

I logged out, downloaded the little patch and back in and it is still gone nothing in the mail or no reset WQ, sigh.

Same here, and the kicker is that when the quest rewarded the weapon directly, I got the staff on my mage while dead and running back so this is a new issue as a result of their blunder with the wrong specialization weapons being rewarded and them giving out the caches.

Please don’t spread misinformation, this is not a new issue as I killed Nathanos right after the pre-patch event went live.
Aye, I also killed him on my hunter – died, was corpse running when the cutscene popped, no loot box and the WQ is gone. And this was after whatever small patch they did.
(Technically I don’t even think he died when the cutscene started for me, when I got back to my body, people were still fighting him, but I died again because I was low health and he hits like a truck, but even when he died then, I didn’t get anything.)
Then it is an inconsistent issue unrelated to the caches but I did receive the drop running back while dead when it was a weapon and I didn’t get it running back while dead when it was a cache
edit: I changed my avatar from the lvl 12 salvicus, idk why it defaulted to that.

Same issue here, died and running back to corpse. Nathanos died and no loot/Cinematic on my shaman. Quest was marked as complete.

I got loot but it was not for the spec I have set for my Main.

How do you submit a ticket? I’m so frustrated. The automated system sends me in a loop. Report a bug -> Open a ticket -> Report a Bug -> Open a ticket.
