If I choose to move my character to BC, does that name open up on the classic era realm? I’d assume not due to using the clone service in the future, but I am just curious if there’s anything with names that we need to know?
No. You aren’t moving characters at all. Blizzard is copying them all to both realms for you. You’re just picking which ones to activate.
Your inactive toons will still exist and have their names. You can delete inactive toons. Read the official post linked in my post.
