This is probably a good thing as we can know ahead of time which servers the streamers will roll on and either join them or avoid them.
That makes the most sense since people have been sitting on names in current wow for years with that method.
I expect Blizzard will universally pre-reserve their names on every single server. Can’t have the influencers show any kind of frustration on launch day. Bad for optics.
So Blizzard wants my money before the game even launches, and are dangling my name in front of my face to get me to open my wallet? Can they really not wait 2 more weeks?
Scroll down to just before the comments to: CREATE YOUR CHARACTER
Word of warning. If you get a twitch streamer name it will be taken from you.
Source? Or is that just a fear?
Twitch is partnered with blizz. Streamers are parterned with twitch. Blizz will give preference to prevent bad actors. Thats just logic.
So, you are making an assumption.
Gotcha.
Well give it a shot and see what happens. If you cant you know why and that is not counting twitch streamers name being reserved and unmakeable in the first place.
I’m sure they will be unmakeable and the streamers will have a direct line to get them made by actiblizz. Or they’ll be made a few days before the 13th.
Look up the word “summer”
I can create a character and reserve a name on retail right now without having an active sub (as you can play for free up to lvl 20).
Why wouldn’t the same hold true for classic?
Because on retail that’s called free trial. That’s not in Classic.
Is Legolas going to finally be available? Seems silly to block that, but not all of the other elves of fantasy literature.
I’m hoping people take the names of the streamers and all variants keep em off your server
Ha ha ha… imagine thinking that streamers actually raid under their stream name.
It’s just for the early reservations. You can have up to 50 characters on classic.
The free 10 day guest passes are obsolete, since the trial version is available to everyone for unlimited days.
It snows in spring and summer the past few years where I live.
America seasons and weather have always been different compared to Europe.
