Yea, it could have been all 4 of us, but it was for sure 2 of us that reported him. Being level 10 he didnt do much stuff other than walk through Stormwind then end up in our dungeon.

He knew he had a name that wasnât allowed. They got a free name change without having to lose their character.
Iâm not upset, Iâm sharing my experience. I never saw anyone mention this system being this quick to act.
Are you aware of the phrase âvictimless crimeâ? Itâs letters on a screen, and someone you will never see again after your dungeon. The fact that you even bothered to report someone in content that takes 15 minutes to complete is actually sad. Total nark behaviour, I bet youâd also snitch on a broke mother shoplifting some babyfood for her kid because âthems the rulesâ lol
Iâve seen posts here saying names that were definitely over the top (Iâd say that one was, but I donât want to get silenced for saying those words) got their character deleted. Not just renamed. Would you rather find out early on, or after you spend much time and dedication on it?

I just had my name force name changed and itâs an awesome name. I wonât say it because someone might find it offensive. Sadly. But all I got was a cut a paste answer. To my appeal. If you wanna know the name âbobs burger floral shopâ I thought it was a funny name for a Druid. But nooo. Reporting names is stupid becuase I dont know what offends everyone. They need to have actual people review instead of cut and paste. Im pretty sure itâs ai because none of my multiple questions were answered. Iâm spending real money give me a real answer

Was it on a RP server or a regular? I donât think it would have been an issue on the regular ones. But RP servers have extra naming rules.
Maybe its 10 and only 8 other people reported it before you
or 20 and only 18 other people reported it⌠etc etc

Whether or not that person mightâve been reported down the line is irrelevant because Iâd be saying the exact same thing to whoever wouldâve done that down the line, but instead you chose to be the name police and go on to post it on the forums lol
How would I break a rule? Iâd notice the woman and offer her Iâd pay for it for her.

Nah, just one will work. I reported someone in a mythic back at the start of DF who had a very legitimately rude name that bypassed the filters. I reported him at the start of the dungeon and he was back in, right when we were about to pull the first group.

If may work like how some other auto trips work: the actual library of banned words for names is very lenient so you can have your name Riddick without being told youâre naughty. However, there may be an automatic library thatâs more strict that relies on human logic to tell it that this particular player isnât Riddick, but using the last half for something else.
More ambiguous names that donât trip that library sit in the que for a GM. In the library of a game I helped mod for, we even had all alt codes added to the string of variants for special people trying to dodge the filter.
