I did a name change on one of my characters and it reverted my characters name back to a previous name. (This character has been race changed recently, when I race changed, I changed its name as well.) Why didn’t it update to the name I wanted it to be and just revert the character to its old name?
Well if its showing completed on the purchase history id open a purchase failure ticket and explain exactly what u were trying ot do and what happened.

There’s been a few topics with this strange issue crop up over the last few months. I’d highly encourage you to make an in-game bug report function or the Bug Report forum here, providing a bit more details such as the character in question. It seems to be a persistent but not overly common issue.
Below is the direct link to the Purchase Failure ticket Darthmoney mentioned. You will need to put one in to get your naming issue looked into.
