Yeah, I really don’t know when this became a trend but it gives big ick. Like, folks only reserving names to make big gold. 
Like, I’ve been telling a few folks that part of the reason I take names and sell them at lower prices is to deter people from grabbing them and selling them at 2-3 mil a pop. I can understand these prices for very coveted names, but I’ve seen some people selling some names that absolutely should not be priced that way for that much.

Some people are pretty weird when it comes to name selling lately. extremely overpriced for what they have. I’ve noticed a lot of people will tell you to offer something for their name and when you do, you get 0 response back. If my offer was low then just say so and I can give you a higher number. It’s hard to ballpark when people are like that lol. Not sure where the off-realm people came from though ^^ maybe they should start their own name archive on a server they main. Could work out well for them.

Exactly! Like, I’ve always tried to price my names at 1/3rd of a token for most names, unless it’s a name that I won’t part with without a fair trade. (Aka, the special names I have reserved for my own characters.)
I’ve had multiple people just not get back to me after putting in an offer as well. It really seems like some people are just asking for offers and taking the highest, which is fair, but some communication is owed in a collaborative thread like this.
I’ve also had some people come to me feeling bad that they only have like 100k to offer for a name, and I’m like: I don’t know how we got here–but that’s plenty for most names. Heck, a lot of my names I would give for free if I knew folks weren’t going to turn around and try to flip it for 3 mil.

It’s been a little confusing seeing so many non-RP server names, yeah. I honestly have no idea how to really appraise these; I’d just figured by the prices I’ve seen that it could get me above 80k gold again.
I’m much more willing to trade “high value” names for any on my wishlist than I am to sell them though tbh.
