Probably a bit of a long shot, but I once had a gnome mage by the name of Tassi way back during WotLK. I was in WrA back then but I’ve since moved to MG and would love to remake the character with the same name for nostalgic purposes. Hey guys,

Basically, yeah. I’ve never purchased a name before, only traded. But all of my many experiences with folks via this thread have been pleasant. I guess there’s always some risk involved, but you can typically tell by post history, the type of trades/sales being offered, etc., whether or not you’re dealing with someone reliable. I always exchange Discord info when doing a trade and go from there.

Most people have multiple names to sell, so it’s in their best interest to do the right thing if they want to get what they want; you might get away with scamming one person once, but word spreads quickly and you’re not likely to get away with it multiple times.
