A snake is a lower animal, it acts on instinct and has an excuse for acting like that. Youāre an intelligent human being with free will.

I would agree with you but have looked at what the gaming world has become because people stopped showing their rage and how upset they are over things its destroyed all that was pure from the 90s and earlier
Iām in my 40s. I remember the '90s. Iām honestly not sure what youāre talking about, but I donāt think it really matters.
It does compare diablo 1 to diablo 3 lol for example last statement I dint need a excuse because its a natural responses to defend your point with rageā¦ otherwise Iām just a doormat and I refuse to be a doormat ever again .

Nah, if the characters of names are going to be changed in any way, it needs to be through the removal of special characters, accented letters.
Only because very very very rarely do people ever use the characters actual use in their names.
While I agree, having surnames would also be wonderful, and allow for further creativity.

My only problem with last names is numerous players have indicated they only want last names so they can steal first names already in use because, apparently, they lack creativity. If the only-one-first-name rule stayed in place while last names were only a vanity thing, I wouldnāt care.
What is there to āstealā? I enjoy coming up with fresh names, but if someone wants to use a particular name - and would probably just use some hideous alt-characters to get it, anyway - why not let them?
Iād rather see Adrea Brightfeather and Adrea Steelsinger than Adrea and ƤĆĀ®ĆØĆ, for example.

The time and thought a person put into a crafting a special name. I realize not every person crafted a name but a lot of people did and it means something to them.
I am one of those people and I donāt want any of my characterās names made ordinary, or worse, by other people using them. And I would also find it immersion breaking to run into several characters with the same unusual name. Each character is suppose to be unique, they should each have a unique name to match.
Let people employ that creativity you mentioned and come up with their own names. If they canāt even do it for one name, they certainly wonāt be able to do it for two so they donāt need last names on that basis.
There are reasons why the World is set up with the rules it has. People need to respect that and stop acting like greedy children always reaching out for more, more, more!
