Positive: I don’t have to quest to easily hit max level.
Negative: I know nothing about the zones as a result. (But I’ll own that, because I hate questing that much)
No, it’s a new guy, Tarantoesyes.
Positive:
We got Earthen female dwarves, with beards. Very fun change in my book.
Negative:
The campaign took too long to unlock and felt extremely short. Some of us are here for the Story and not the Mythic Treadmill.
Positive - Warbands and delves. Both have made gearing up alts much more pleasant.
Negative - Delves. They’ve made gearing up a lot easier, that’s for sure, but some of them just aren’t enjoyable and the tuning can be straight wonky. I’ll plow an 8 no problem solo, but then my wife will run with me and suddenly I’ll just be getting pasted by the mobs. I never understood them scaling up because you brought a friend with you. It doesn’t happen with every one of them, like Kriegvals and Earthcrawl are fine but we know not to even mess with fungal if we’re duo’ing.
Positive - Hot goth mommy Xal is a competent villian who poses a credible threat which is a massive step up from DF and the entire nothing waste of an expansion lorewise that turned out to be.
Negative - Like DF, there is minimal need to actually play the game outside of your highest level of personal progression instanced content. The world is so minimally rewarding to cater to no life mythic raiding tryhards that there is nothing rewarding enough to do. At least with SL, I had an entire sanctum to build up and play on off hours and because there was so much stuff to do/acquire I had alts wherever even playing every waking moment of the day wouldn’t have been enough to get the stuff unless that is all I spent time doing (at the cost of seasonal progression).
Positive - Warbands for currency transfer, alt catch-ups, and reputation progress.
Negative - M+ revamp. The standardized affix system makes for a dull experience, along with the addition of things like challengers peril, more exponential Hp/Dmg increases after 12+, and Tyran/Fortified both in 10+ keys
(Or even existing).
Positive: Rogue dev slowly peeling back a lot of annoying rogue stuff.
Negative: Endless amounts of exploiting that slip through with every patch.
I believe they’re called Nerubians.
Positive - Shammy improvements
Negative - Mythic + (I’ve done two the whole season so far)
Positive: you’re still able to cancel your subscription
Negative: m+, everything about it
I like the priest ones…
Positive: You can play previous expansions.
Negative: You played TWW.
Positive - Warbands makes sharing resources cross faction possible.
Negative - The game is getting so riddled with bugs and glitches that it’s like an alpha version of itself.
** The MMO called reality**
Positive: enjoying the simple things in life
Negative: way too grinding and punishing
Positive: Warband i guess.
Negative: To have destroyed the Timewalking. The fun part was to farm old stuffs and use them, i wonder who is the idiot who designed this.
Positive: The story, while not perfect, actually feels like it’s told competently and like there was an actual vision with it that they intend to follow through.
Negative: I feel like the .5 and .7 patches have been… quite lacking. Not terrible but I honestly haven’t touched the Siren Isle much at all and after I got the T2 remake sets I stopped caring about the anniversary event.
To revisit what some others have said the pacing is really lacking right now in the game. So i guess thats a story complaint.
Also i really have to get this out: I hate Cooking now and this Hearty Well Fed thing where two recipe versions look exactly the same. This is the first xpac I didnt level cooking all the way and abandoned it. In Dragonflight I did the Ruby Feast on five alts, including the five daily quests to get the last recipe, hunted down the Churnbelly Tea, the Blubbery Muffins, and Yusas’s Secret Stew.
Something positive: I like the Battle Royale style pvp pit in Azj-Kahet in the Nifflin village it feels like a secret underground fight club lol
Positive: Delves, anniversary event, hero talents, beautiful maps, TW rewards, transmogs, new spell visuals.
Negative: Excessive bugs, tank nerfs, changes in M+, excessive wait to find out what will happen in the story, some outdated spell visuals.
We had Samwise, a great artist (+), we got Ion (-)
Did I miss something? I haven’t been able to find a Sparks group for 2 weeks
