Positive-
Delves. A good option for solo gearing, with grouping is you choose. Not perfect, but it is a start.
Negative-
Story. I enjoyed Legion and believe it to be the best expansion. I read the old books the War of the Ancients Trilogy. You learn about the Burning Legion, Illidan, the Demigods, and to see them implemented into the game lore and quests it was fantastic.
I knew who the NPCs were.
since Legion they have destroyed the beloved characters. Tyrande, Alleria, Malfurion, you really donāt hear about Vareesa. Ronin is gone. Illidan is gone.
If you read the Warcraft books, Rise of the Horde, Lord of the Clans, The Last Guardian, etc. you will know how bad the writing has gotten.
positive: I liked the anniversary event a lotā¦especially the tier 2 sets re-imaginedā¦that was completely out of left field for me, and i like seeing being surprised like that. Itās the same reason I used to look forward to seeing my new tier set and its effects in the upcoming tier.
negative: they destroyed an interesting game mode (timewalking) with scaling. I donāt understand why they didnāt expand on it as it was - it gave meaning and purpose to farming old trinkets/sets/legendaries despite them not holding much power in the present gameā¦Whoever came up with this design decision really failed here, badly.
Negative - no new character customizations when certain races like Vulpera, Kul Tiran, Dark Iron Dwarves, Mechagnomes and Magāhar Orcs really need them.
It is beyond the worst it has ever been lol i play one of the worst specs in the game never ending queuing hoping for any invite. Literally queuing more time then Iām playing When Iām on. Perfect example of meta insanity is out of the top 100 M+ runs 3 are not prot pally tanks. The game is unbalanced and player take it to the next level.
Negative: Xalāa-whatsis escaping that cool dagger.
Positive: Xal recaptured, imprisoned in a set of daggers and awarded to Roguesā¦ It could happen! She would never escape us. The conversations with her would beā¦ interesting.
Negative: Storytelling, which once again seems like a few minutes of cinematics followed by waiting months to find out what happens next. In game, weāve seen Xalāatath twice?
