I contribute my time back to the M+ woes by offering my 626 Mistweaver to lower level groups. Usually it’s a pretty hard carry with myself contributing an unreasonable amount of damage from the DPS being kind of bad, but eh.
It doesn’t really bother me but I know our elitist jerks would never. And sadly, they shape this game. More folks like myself willing to help out could probably stop the whole “No you’re not meta or over geared, gtfo.”
Meta doesn’t matter. Gear does matter but requiring over geared? Letting us pick our groups beyond a Blizzard set ilvl requirement is a mistake.
POSITIVE delves
NEGATIVE tie between keeping the awful profession changes and keeping the equally awful crest upgrade system. Honorable mention for the idiotic real flying Pathfinder.
If I could make one suggestion, make it so Shadow Hounds procs more hounds, and make them the skeletal hounds from Black Arrow MM classic. Preferably with color options, I use Blazeseekers for a reason.
Positives for DF/TWW: cosmetics and mogs
Negatives: the story is low stakes and dogwater after Legion and SL, the whole “mundane things are now a threat” plot doesn’t make sense anymore, this isn’t Skyrim where every boar is secretly capable of erasing star systems
Also content cadence, massive missed opportunity to add more stuff like Valdrakken and DF zones or BFA ones with places to RP and socialize
Positive: affixes, we don’t have a dead week of M+.
Negative: TWW S1 is easily the worst season for the tank and LFG for M+ is awful. Crest acquisition and tank busters nerfs are way too late too little. M+ balance and class balance are poor.
Positive - Delves, fun having challenging solo content that actually rewards meaningful gear to handle progressive difficulty track
Negative - Delves, some annoying and overly punishing mechanics can be unfun and leads to only running a couple of them which limits the variety for me…
DF and TWW are okay, and only just, the problem is much like BFA, it feels like filler. Something only really there to be C plot till the A plot and material starts back up in another year or so.
