You’re thinking of Cree Summer, who does also do voices for the game (like Lilian Voss), but isn’t Rebecca Lee, who voices this character.
Overall, this is a weird hill to die on. I went and listened to the voice lines and they are absolutely bog standard female Blood Elf.

I didnt like one of the dragons voices i just chuck it on mute, no need to quit when there is mute buttons for stuff like this. I did the same thing in shadowlands with the little pixy things in ardernweld.

I found her voice quite calming. She has a very smoky, sultry, and very relaxing tone to her voice; her VA is pretty good.
WoW usually has decent voice acting, just trying to see if Jim Cummings is still in the zeitgeist of WoW after his work as Havi, Lorewalker Cho, and Runas. (He was also the auctioneer during the boss fight with the auction in Shadowlands.)

Kinda like what happened with Laura Bailey (Jaina) in The Last Of Us 2. Where a character she voiced killed a beloved character and people literally sent death threats to Laura Bailey and her toddler…

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I was not happy when that happened. Laura did a great job even tho I do not like TLOU2.
I watch Critical Role so that’s how I found out about what happened.

Not bad.
Naleidea Rivergleam has a wonderful voice, I would listen to her talk all day. She’s right up there with Taelia Fordragon from BfA.

Dragonflight is rife with bad voice-acting. I find Naleidea hard to listen to, some of her lines you can even hear her voice crack . Selistra’s voice acting is also just terrible, but compounded with awful lines to begin with.
Sometimes it’s something as trivial as this that is the push one way or another when someone is really on the fence over if they like an expansion, I get it.

WTF is wrong with the VA?
Plenty of stuff IDC for in the expac, all in all I think it’s fine enough though, certainly worth the 50$. Met expectations. I expected dragons. Got 'em.

there’s a lot of bad voice acting in dragonflight, a few times I made note of how bad some NPCs sound but it’s such a minor thing I forgot what characters they were. as an Alliance player Naleidea sounded fine to me but I googled some of her Horde-only lines and yeah doesn’t sound great.
I wish I could do more than just the Waking Shores on the free trial. WoW is in a weird place where the main questline and zones are fun and I want to do them but it’s not worth buying the whole expansion+sub just for that.
