I gotta wonder if their problem is actually with the voice actress herself, rather than the line delivery.
Because I can’t see how anyone listens to any voice line from that voice actress and finds it horrible. She has an absolutely charming voice, it suits the character very well and there’s even a few jokes thrown in which always bring a chuckle.

Ok I went to Wowhead and listened to some of her voice lines. What about that would make you uninstall? It’s a relatively normal voice and her lines are just normal run of the mill functionary NPC lines that you would hear from any other generic character that isn’t integral to the story.
I mean I can see how Toddy gets hate, not everyone is going to be a fan of the accent and the over enthusiastic personality but Naleidea is the opposite of that…

I literally have to play with the dialog sounds off. I can’t stand how… almost every NPC sounds now. It’s like Blizzard made them all females, but then made them all talk like girls trying to talk like men instead of just having female voices. It’s super awkward. Can’t do it. The “ME GIRL ME SMASH TOO” is sooooo cringe.

I think people consider you a troll for making an entire thread about the ridiculous nature of your reasoning for quitting… I don’t think they care if you quit, it’s your reasoning that people are finding idiotic. You uninstalled due to ONE VOICE ACTOR. So yea, you look like a troll. You kinda remind me of this quantumtv guy when he was reviewing Elden Ring.

Never played that, but that’s at least the narrator… not a random NPC. I have had characters that I disliked strictly due to voice acting lol
Given that the OP says it “embodies everything he hates about new Blizzard” and comments on WoW’s direction without specifying what he means, I assume he dislikes her for the crime of voice acting while black.

the only voice acting i’ve ever encountered in this game which evoked any sort of cringe, was the: “malfYOOOOrian my love!”

The first 3 sound assets are what he is complaining about. The rest are stock belf noises. They’re really quite standard and uninteresting…
