Event: The Pandaren Wanderer’s Festival

Location: Turtle Beach at Krasarang Wilds

Into every generation are born the dreamers. What’s YOUR dream? Don’t let anyone take it away. Hold it in your heart, and make it happen. Dreamers change the world.

The Wanderer’s Festival, is a day to celebrate and honor the adventurers, the wanderers, and the dreamers of our wonderful world. A time for contemplation and song. A time to honor renowned travelers like Liu Lang and all others who dared to venture into the unknown. For what is life if not about living it like an adventure?

The Pandaren Empire wishes to invite you and all to join us for some casual style RP at Turtle Beach in Krasarang, Pandaria. Along with our friends from Quilen & Cloud Teahouse, we hope to see you all there to enjoy with family, friends, and food!

PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES:

EVENT RULES:

  • All participants are encouraged to have their RP addon profiles enabled (i.e. TRP, Cross RP)

  • Both factions are welcome to enjoy the festivities. Just as long as everyone is respectful towards the other participants.

  • Food will be served throughout the course of the event. So if you want seconds and thirds, feel free to approach the servers.

Menu

  • Seafood & Sausage Gumbo - with a kick of various spices including just a hint of Jingles’ famous Dragon Sauce (extra on-hand for the fire-proof) - simmered in a giant turtle shell over a bed of coals covered with shells to keep the fire low & even. Served in a disposable bamboo bowl over a mix of green noodles and rice.

  • Dumplings - mixed dried fruits & vegetables lightly sprinkled with savory herbs, steamed wrapped in an edible high-protein taro leaf. Served warm and grabbable as an easy finger food.

  • Sweet Buns - dipped in wild honey for a generous coating then deep-fried - warm & fluffy inside a crispy crunchy shell. good down to the last finger-licking crumble.

  • Black Turtle Tea - leaves hung in a special smokehouse during the curing process for a truly black tea with a distinctive flavor that doesn’t get bitter no matter how strong you brew it. Served in a Seed Cup. Formed from a special chi-infused clay impregnated with germinated seeds. Take it home, plant it, enjoy a mix of edible wild-flowers from the Wandering Isle.

  • Bentos containing snack-sized (for a Pandaren) portions of the whole menu available for take-away.

Refreshments donated. Tips accepted.

the grand gathering & opening ceremony in half an hour. We’ll be there a few minutes early if you want to grab some food before settling in.

lots of fun. My favorite part was sitting around the bonfire afterwards answering questions from non-Pandaren about Shen-zin Su and Pandaren beliefs in general.
